Hotel Ereza Mar

Negatives first, the food is just about OK the dinner particularly isn’t up to 4* standard. Vegetable soup all 3 nights which I’m guessing is just blended leftover veg. The Mexican potatoes I had on the first night reappeared on the third with some octopus in and a new name. Breakfast a little better but think of the hotel as a good 3* and you’ll feel much better. Drinks included with evening meal was a bonus as I wasn’t AI. Positives. The staff are very polite and friendly. The room was spotlessly clean. The pool areas are beautiful, yes they don’t like furniture moved but who wants to relax when Kev and Caroline are forever moving stuff about to chase the sun. Don’t miss the rooftop sun terrace with hot tubs, the view is amazing. The hotel has a relaxed vibe and if you’re expecting a mini Ibiza think again. I’d definitely stay again but would probably just stay B and B.

We stayed here for 5 Nights, our room 334 which was a standard room had a lovely side sea view which was clean and spacious. We found the pool areas were spacious and always found a sun bed or a comfortable chair to enjoy the sun. The two bars served plenty of variety of drinks limited to two per visit which was absolutely fine and queuing was at a minimum. The restaurant served plenty of variety of foods of which we particularly enjoyed lunch times with varied salad choice and nice deserts. We like to pay particular thanks for Miguel the lifeguard and Louise in Reception who were extremely helpful and friendly. We look forward to our return visit .

location great rooms great lovely and clean that is where the positives end sadly no atmosphere the food was very poor felt more like a prison stay ,some of the staff have in my opinion no right to be front of house ,petty rules and restriction's like moving chairs sunbeds and tables not because they were put in dangerous places but because the blue shirt animation guy didn't like them moved , a very over the top response throwing peoples belongings around and the sun beds and tables not very professional and could have been easily handled in a calm way but not with this man he wanted and needed to show everyone of the guests who was in charge and apparently guests that have stayed numerous times before have said he has always been like this so they tend to just stay out of his way and try not to aggravate him i have never been to a hotel that you cannot just join in with activity's ,or any of the daytime things like archery water polo aqua aerobics then you have also got to deal with some of the restaurant management staff who think it is perfectly acceptable to shout and manhandle people because of a glass of wine or because they brought a plastic cup into the restaurant so they could take a cold cup of water out to the pool area before the snack bar opens because after all with all these rules we must do and obey without question because if you dare to complain that opens yet another can of worms and as for the bars well one of the bar staff worked flat out all night on his own because he was the only member of staff working there was at least a que of ten people all night sometimes more never any help just one member of staff behind the bar and the snack bar was no different the same only one member of staff on madness and the snack bar staff some of them treated you like you were an inconvenience considering that was the only place you could get any drinks apart from the restaurant when it was open so again it was just a case of put up and shut up or go without ,this has to be one of the worst holidays i have had you couldn't relax it was like walking on egg shells ,i didn't see the pool cleaned once during the whole of our stay more like a 2 star than a 4 i would not recommend at all

I booked a 3 night stay via on the beach and was given an accessible room, however I am not disabled. The room was nice and very spacious but the problem was the location. My room was in the foyer, a high volume traffic area, I had the pool on one side, a seating area in front of my room and ahead of that was the bar/ entertaining area. But what made it worse was that the smoking area which consisted of two tables and bar stools was right next to my room so I had other guest smoking and drinking, making lots of noise, past midnight which meant I didn't get any sleep. I am a sole traveller and had to complain to the night receptionist and he asked them to keep the noise down. When I spoke to the morning receptionist I asked to be moved as I didn't get any sleep and didn't need an accessible room. He said that was what I had booked and the other guests had a right to drink until 11pm and there was nothing he could do. He did not care that I had to forgoe my sleep until they decided that they had enough which by then was after 1:00am. When I questioned why you would have a smoking area next to someones room he offered nothing and said there was nothing he could do as I booked the room. I tried to explain the room was not the issue it was the location. Who on earth puts a smoking area next to someone's room!!!! I spoke to the manager and asked to move rooms and again I was told I had booked an accessible room and again I said the room isn't the problem it is the location and I wanted to move. I was told they were fully booked, however, I could get a room the next day, which would have been my last night so it meant I would have to endure another sleepless night and put up with people congregating next to my room bellowing at the top of their voice. I said if I have to stay another night in that room with all that racket going on beside me, the smoking area needed to move as it was inappropriate and non sensical to have that bedside my room. Thankfully they did take note of my concern and dismantled the area. My concern is that they didn't think it was inappropriate to have a smoking area next to a room accessible or not, and they thought it was okay for me to be kept up all night and that guests drinking and smoking outside my room were the priority and how they were dismissive because that is the room I supposedly booked and should take it up with on the beach. I got no where with on the beach total waste of time.

We had a bad start got there at 1.30 to be told we cannot check in until 3 the receptionist was very rude to my wife so went for food in the restaurant which was horrible and cold but there is a microwave between 350 guests.At this point we considered going to another hotel but thought we wait until we get our room which to our surprise was clean and had a sea view, then went to the pool not a chance of sunbed we were told you have to be up at six,.this was true I watched of my balcony in the morning sad people putting towels on in the dark unbelievable I couldn’t be bothered it’s sad to see. The all inclusive drinks are horrible I ended up buying my own at the supermarket.this hotel is a 3 star and run like a prison good luck to anyone who books it
