Return visit to this gem of a hotel. Amazing lication in a delightful small resort which is a foodies delight. Hotel comes inclusive of evening meals but we chose to eat out every night as the resort has so many great restaurants. Breakfast was great and we did enjoy a few lunches at the hotel. I would advise emailing hotel begore arrival to request a clear view room....there is a huge tree at front of property and is not allowed to be removed and does block view of a few marina view rooms and also one room on ground floor overlooking marina that only has a half sized terrace. All balconies are very small as an older buildjng, ground floor terraces are larger if you like to use outside space. Pool area meant to not open till 9am to avoid any sunbed issues but a few days some people ignored this and went and 'hogged' their favourite sun beds...this was rectified during my weeks stay. No need to rush though as plenty of sunbeds. One gripe is cost of the ballinease beds...hotel quoted me 100Euros inc some fruit and a drknk...it was only 30 Euros 5 years ago so a huge increase so didn"t bother with one this time and very few were used. Would make sense for hotel to review and lower prices so more used and they would in long run make more money ! Hotel spotlessly clean and staff very helpful. I emailed hotel to request a clear view room but got the ground floor room with half sized balcony but on check in reception advised a harbour view room was available the next day so I unpacked very little and moved rooms the next day. Love the fact you can swim directly in the sea from the hotel steps...we did take one day at the beach. Took the ferry one day to call at a few of the other resorts, except Puerto Rico as too large and no appeal to me and hired a car for a day which was brilliant heading up into the centre of the island and seeing some lovely towns and villages and beautiful scenery...ended up on a beach Puerto de Sardina on other side of island with only locals on it and very much rougher seas but lovely to visit. If you stay at this hotel and take a walk around the resort you will realise why you have paid more than most hotels as it is so much nicer than any other in the resort. If I want another quick week in the sunshine this is a hotel I would certainly come back to again

Absolutely stunning hotel ,perfect location so pretty,rooms are lovely and the added treats are fabulous.The staff are amazing and can not do enough for you ,one of the best buffet breakfast ever and the evening buffet is amazing.The location is suburb and the pool perfect ,also the steps to the sea is so good .The hotel is excellent and beautiful will be returning soon xxxx

Beautiful location. Hotel is lovely warm and welcoming. Welcome drink on arrival, lovely touch, all the little touches in the room made it more special. We had a superior room facing onto the harbour and so lovely and peaceful sitting out in the balcony in the late evening. Staff all amazing, nothing a problem for any of them. All so attentive and wanting you to enjoy your holiday. Pool lovely and warm and the rooftop sunbeds were lovely as so peaceful up there. The spa was an added bonus and most enjoyable. Everything local to the hotel just outside the door. Only downside - the beds are just too hard, even with a mattress topper being added. Definitely will be coming back again and highly recommend to others wanting a relaxing and chilled out hotel and surroundings. Thank you all

Just back from yet another fantastic stay at this wonderful hotel, it's my second time this year and I'm going back again for Christmas. Every thing from the tastefully decorated rooms with great views either overlooking the pool and sea or the pretty marina are so relaxing. The food was all great with plenty of choices and i nice setting in the restaurant overlooking the sea. What really makes this holiday are the fantastic staff, they cannot do enough for you and are all so kind and friendly and aways stop for a little chat when they are out serving you around the pool. They are always smiling which shows how much they love working there.l would definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday.

Fifth time here and it is our cotton wool place where we feel cocooned in comfort tranquility and relaxation.The hotel is situated between the beach and the marina and all the rooms have water views.The hotel has been refurbished and to a high quality with lovely walk in showers and a pillow menu.Mini bar stocked with soft drinks and water replenished daily.The spa is excellent with a sauna and water jet pool.However the main attraction for us is the staff.From Daniel to Yasmani to the lovely lady waitresses nothing is too much trouble.Breakfast buffet is excellent with all you could want and choice of fresh omelettes,poached or fried eggs.Cava and Bloody Marys on offer but only tried the cava!Access to the sea via steps and feeding the fish was a highlight.Evening meal there was plenty of choice but sometimes dishes were tepid.Disappointed that afternoon tea had stopped and entertainment on the roof.We have booked for next year but in an apartment so we can eat out in the evening but still enjoy the hotel’s facilities and have b and b
