Hotel LIVVO Puerto de Mogan

First time visit to Mogan and hotel Livvo - had a lovely relaxing week - peaceful chilled resort, everyone very friendly - same went for the hotel - relaxing (apart from the fact that there seemed to be loud talking and crashing most mornings in the hallway around 7.30am each morning - can't work out if it was the maids or other guests) - room was half board (breakfast and evening meal) we would rather have just been breakfast as so many lovely restaurants in Mogan to try but this wasn't an option - the selection, however, at both breakfast and dinner was amazing and we really enjoyed the theme nights - our only criticism would be that the hot selections were usually lukewarm - bordering on cold, which was a shame - the choices, however, were some of the best we have ever had in a hotel. The pool area was lovely - we always managed to get a sunbed and loved the direct access into the sea - our only criticism would be the strong smell in some areas of the pool - smelt like cat wee - not sure if we just have oversensitive noses as there didn't appear to be anyone else bothered by it but it was repulsive - we chose a table on the outside area one night but had to return back inside because of the smell. Rooms were clean and big and the shower was amazing! Had a coffee machine and kettle in the room and water and tea coffee sugar was replenished each day. We had a balcony with marina view which was lovely. It is a shame that the rooftop bar was closed as the evenings were so warm and sunny it would have been nice to sit up there and have a drink. We would recommend the submarine trip - it was amazing and we also used the 91 bus back to the airport - €6.80 each - bit different than the €85 taxi ride on arrival! All in all a lovely, relaxing, peaceful hot and sunny stay !

We visited the Hotel on a ferry trip some 15 years ago saying we must stay sometime. We at last managed a stay, to which we were not at all disappointed in. The staff were very helpful and thoughtful. The accommodation clean and fresh especially as its not a new build hotel. Fresh towels etc every day. Food and drink were great, selection was great at both meals we took, freshly cooked each time. An early return start was serviced with a packed breakfast, much appreciated. The closeness of the bus terminal for days out, within the harbour, town and the clean beach were great. Having a weekly market was also an attraction. Slight annoying noise from the jet skis using the beach but overall not an issue. There were plenty of sun beds around the clean pool in addition to a roof top sunning area to see the sun set. Afternoon tea in the library was a great idea which we took every day after our days out. Calm atmosphere, quite and resting, we think we picked the right time to come. Can't really comment on the costs as it was a package, but next time as discovered the Hotel can arrange a competitive pickup / delivery from and to the airport, so we will possibly book direct. We will definitely be back soon

Amidst the ultra mass tourism of Gran Canaria, Hotel Livvo, in Puerto de Mogán, is an oasis of old school service. Everyone from the reception, to the restaurant and the housekeeping staff were helpful and accommodating. The rooms were comfortable and well presented. The beds were quite hard, but on request mattress toppers appeared instantly. We don't normally have dinner in the hotel we stay in, but as the only option, when booking, is half board we tried it. I have to say the cold section, of the buffet, was remarkable! An amazing choice of delicious offerings. The hotel itself is built on a relatively small plot and the only downside is the small pool and cramped surroundings. Overall a great week.

Third visit and WOW, this hotel gets better with every visit. On arrival we were greeted by Raquel who was a credit to the hotel. A welcoming face after a long day who instantly made our holiday start relaxed. The room is stunning, ground floor (111), good size balcony and wheelchair friendly. All areas in the hotel are spotless. The food is first class, so much choice and well made & presented. A jewellery making class laid on by Livvo where we had Amber (Letiz glass) teach us how to create a beautiful glass necklace free of charge was a fabulous treat. Livvo are currently making constant improvements to the hotel, but as is we have no complaints. All staff are accommodating & friendly. Most definitely worth a return. Hotel location is perfect, right on the harbour.

Writing this on our last day here at this beautiful hotel. Here with friends for whom this is their third visit and our first. It certainly won’t be our last. Room 225 overlooking the beautiful marina. Our room, along with the whole hotel, is spotless. The service from all of the staff has been outstanding. The food is wonderful. Huge choice and the quality and cooking is excellent. Plentiful sunbeds, quiet location despite being right on the harbour front. Today as a little treat we attended a jewellery making class with Amber from Letiz Glass. It was great fun and made something very lovely which will always remind me of my wonderful stay here. Absolutely wonderful. 10/10. Can’t wait to return.
