Apartamentos LIVVO Morromar

I have just arrived back after staying here for a week with my wife and 2 daughters . We arrived late morning and check in wasn’t until 3pm, we were immediately given wrist bands for the all inclusive facilities, a shared room for suitcases was provided and we were swiftly by the pool . Check in was given earlier at 2pm and we headed to the rooms . Spacious , 2 bedroom with a small kitchen area and dining table and had everything we needed, air con in the main area and the 2 bedrooms was lovely as was the balcony. Absolutely no issues with the apartment and it was regularly cleaned . After reading a lot of negative comments about the food all I can say is we all found it to be brilliant , great selection and it was always fresh , the fish was grilled in front of you , plenty of fresh fruit, salads and bread , lots of options every mealtime, Again zero complaints. Staff were all very friendly, the gardens , communal areas and pools were all very well maintained, usual sunbed issues with people leaving towels for hours while not being at the pool but we were out on trips 5 days out of the 7 and always managed to find beds when we wanted . On checkout day we had to leave out apartment at 11am , wristbands are cut off and we were given vouchers to use the snack bar and lunch facilities whilst we waited for our pickup at 4:30pm , we again used the shared luggage room and spent the afternoon at the pool , a courtesy room is available for 30 minutes for you to get showered/changed with a pre-booked time slot. Our whole experience was a very positive one and we were all sad to leave , I would definitely recommend to anyone and we will be returning next year . My only one issue was , and it’s not directed at the staff or facilities is that we could smell weed being smoked daily from within the complex , I’m not sure if the staff were aware or were actively on the situation but they weren’t hard to find , at one point we walked past 4/5 lads smoking it right behind the reception area, again this doesn’t mean it was an issue for our holiday , I just don’t appreciate my children having to breathe in the smell either .

I just got back from a 4 night stay. Overall it’s a good 3 star hotel. But don’t expect 5 star expectations and you will be okay. On arrival we was delayed reaching at nearly 10pm. One criticism would be that reception and restaurant don’t have much communication. We was told at reception we have missed dinner but the restaurant have reserved us a cold plate. However on arriving they quickly said we are shutting -when we mentioned what reception said - they told us to take from the hot food. Which was not great as end of service. We then found our room which was a little difficult in the dark - our room 820 was a little walk away but also above the 700 room so we was walking a while trying to find it. On reaching we realised no air con or safe key, so we had to head back to reception, it would be nice if he could have advised us on check in on the charges. Air con is given with a £20 euro cash deposit and then you can have a remote. Safe is rented so you don’t get your full payment back. Our room was clean but basic, no tea coffee etc, our bathroom had a lot of ants but we was not spending much time in the rooms so we did not report this. On our second night our hot water stopped working, it was fixed in the time we returned from dinner so was happy with this. The pools seem well organised with a lock on the entrance stopping early morning bed crabbers - this was nice to see - although we did not use it. The pros are - great entertainment team who work hard to entertain their guests - we did take our son to the evening shows. - gardens are well mainted -very close to airport the negative points are - food is not that great - not much for veggies be warned. More red meat and fish. I eat fish so was able to find something. My partner does not and on the last two nights struggled to find much. Pizza is not on every night, only pasta and chips are on every night so for fussy eaters be warned. Breakfast does not have pancakes each day, we only got once but otherwise enjoyed the breakfasts more than dinner. Not even a complementary water on arrival so if you arrive past 11pm be warned no water is available. We did however have a great break away, and we knew what to expect - the few issues could have been avoided with better communication, I did observe the check in for other guests also no mention on the aircon which means it’s an extra trip back, and when we arrived the room Was boiling hot as off and we was tired to go back but had to. It would be nice to have tea and coffee in the room, -and a bottle of water. Our room 820 had a large palm tree outside the bedroom window and each night it bashed against the window as it was always so windy. We had earplugs and thankful we did 😨

Ok so after reading the reviews I was slightly alarmed but I’ve got to say for good value fo money holiday I cannot complain. Rooms are spacious enough we had 2 adults and two children in a one bed apartment. Pool entertainment is fab, food was ok. Drinks goods 10 mins walk from great beach for snorkelling and crabbing, Day we arrived we had to take our bags to our own rooms which was a bit of a pins after travelling all day to get there: Pool Doenst open til 10am so no one army sunbed wars but it also stops you going done to get the early sun and read. Plenty of sunbeds as a new batch was delivered however some of the beds are a bit battered an dare uncomfortable to lay on all day. Great value for money holiday .. 6euro to PDC or £10 euro to Airport x

We came to this hotel about 20years ago, we enjoyed the stay. Good deal so we returned again. We didn't arrive at the hotel till 10.50pm the reception gentleman was very helpful , he did say you can go into restaurant for some food, just basic salads etc, which was lovely we had already had food on the plane. So we went to the bar, but all inclusive ends at 11pm so we had to pay for drinks 6 euro for 2 pints. Then reading we have to leave the room on our departure at 11.00 and we have to give our wrist bands in at the same time ,when we dont leave our hotel till 8.30pm extra money for all families to find. Between these times. Alincusive is from getting to the hotel and leaving the hotel.We had a lovely big balcolny , had to report our telephone in our room didn,t work they sent someone gave us a new phone that didnt work, we had loads of ants in our room my husband reported it twice and was given a spray, still had ants so reception gentleman said we could have another room. I did decline as there was only 3days left to our holiday. Last day we booked a room to have a shower , was given a key 602 was trying to get in felt so embarrassed a couple came to the door it was their room, went to reception told him what had happened in the end we finished up getting changed in the toilets 🚻 😢 as it was getting close to our departure.

We had a great holiday here at Morromar. We go on those holidays knowing we’ve booked 3* and we weren’t disappointed. Sure, it’s not 5*, but the food was varied and good, entertainment was great, drink selection was good, and the apartment complex was a pleasure to walk around and enjoy. 10 mins walk from a beach that was very quiet. Sunbeds busy in the mornings, with a rush at 10 when the pool opens, but a few days we just went to the beach and got beds later in the day. I would recommend this for family holidays.
