Barcelo Lanzarote Royal Level

We had a very nice stay and really liked our room. The air conditioning was quite weak, but the reception staff were brilliant and quickly sorted the issue by bringing us a fan. We also really enjoyed the food, which was delicious and offered a great variety of options. The pool area itself is lovely. Thankfully, there were no "sunbed wars" with people queuing or rushing for loungers in the morning. However, it was a bit frustrating that many inconsiderate guests claimed too many beds and left them empty for most of the day, which the hotel staff didn't seem to notice or stop. Aside from that minor annoyance, the service from the bar team was excellent, and we would definitely consider staying here again!

I usually stay at Barcelo Playa Blanca Royal Level but as I only booked this trip 2 days prior to departure I couldn't get in there. So I came here.I enjoyed my stay here although the location wasn't good. But I already knew this. The walk into Costa Teguise is not a very nice walk along the sea front as in not very pretty. I had a suite and thankfully I was facing the sea and not the desalination plant. It was well maintained and the housekeeping staff did a good job. The food was very good and plenty of it. The young lads on the bars were very nice and friendly and soon knew my drinks. I had a problem in my room and reported this to reception, it was soon rectified by them. I didn't bother with the hotel entertainment as that's not my cup of tea so cant comment on that. I used the Royal Level swimming pool but found the sunbeds to be too close together. If they had been reduced by 50% there would still be a lot. Everyone was on top of each other which I don't like. Another problem round the pool was people smoking/vaping. I found these people to be rude and very selfish. I enjoyed my stay here but will not return and will be back to Playa Blanca in November

This was are fourth visit over the last two years and once again it was a great holiday. From our arrival at the Royal Level reception to leaving we were made to feel welcome, wherever we went we were greeted with smiling faces, reception, gardeners, cleaners, bar staff, restaurant staff and pool bar staff. The location is a great position overlooking the sea and only a short distance from the airport. The deluxe junior suites comprise of a good sized balcony, large lounge, large bedroom and a large shower room with toilet and sink. Bathrobes and slippers are provided, along with complimentary ( in case you forget your own) tooth paste and brush, shaving kit, nail file and of course shower gel. The rooms are cleaned and tidied, with coffee, tea, milk, sugar and bottled water being replenished on a daily basis by the efficient cleaning staff. The evening entertainment is very good, we spent our evenings in the Royal Level bar listening to vocalists. All pool areas are kept exceptionally clean with plenty of loungers and umbrellas. There is a lifeguard on duty at all the pools. There is varied menu with a great variety of meals at breakfast, lunch and evening times. The food is excellent. We also dined Le dolce vita restaurant the food was delicious. There was a good atmosphere throughout the hotel, with everybody enjoying themselves. Overall the holiday is great value for money, So much so that we have already booked for April 2027 and we will also be booking for September 2027

After enjoying several wonderful holidays over the past few years , we decided this year to come as a group of friends. Life gets busy with work and children so we all enjoyed the opportunity to spend quality time together. We have had the best times - good quality, varied food, lovely drinks and all staff so friendly and attentive. We particularly want to acknowledge Beatrice at the Royal Level reception who looked after us all and remembers us from our previous stays. Royal Level upgraded the sun beds this year which are so much more comfy. We missed the white party DJ this year. The activities coordinator for Royal Level was great - teaching water aerobics, quizzes, cocktail making ! Thank you and see you in 2027 x

Barcelo Lanzarote was a great destination for a holiday with friends for a week in September. The weather was great, the food was varied and plentiful and the Royal level all-inclusive offering did not disappoint in terms of quality.
