Dream Bocayna Village

Set in a quiet area the Dreamplace Bocayna Village does everything it says on the tin. If you are looking to party it isn't for you. Came with a disabled guy I work with and the hotel is very disabled friendly. The only downside is that it's situated at the top of quite a steep hill. The grounds and pool area are very well kept and the rooms have everything you need. We had a room with a hot tub which I would recommend. The food was excellent. Not a great deal of choice but the choice you get is excellent. The real stars of our stay though were the staff. What an outstanding team. They definitely made the holiday special. We just love this hotel. This was our second stay in 3 months, and we will definitely be returning again. All the staff are friendly, work hard, and make you feel very welcome from the receptionists to the bar man, to the staff in the restaurant and maintenance team. This time we had a bungalow with a plunge pool, and so glad we did. It was just amazing sitting in the pool looking at the sea view and surrounding area. We loved it! We went half board, and as last time the food is still very good. The evening meals with a choice of dishes to choose from and being brought to your table is always a highlight! So, until next time.

My husband spent a wonderful 2 weeks Hotel Dream Bocayna Village in September. Weather was perfect mid 30c every day. We stayed in an Aqua Dream Bungalow which was beautiful. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large living /dining and kitchen area it was so spacious and absolutely spotlessly clean. There was a full size fridge/freezer, oven and hob, kettle and coffee machine. On arrival there was 2 bottles of water and a plate of pastries in the fridge was a nice touch. Water isn’t replaced but there is a water dispenser at the side of the bar which was always filled so we used that. The highlight of the bungalow was the outside space, it was huge! Sunloungers, table and chairs and we had a private plunge pool which was perfect for cooling off without having to go to the pool. The sea views were amazing looking over to Fuerteventura. Pool area was beautiful,huge pool, beautiful terraces and certainly no Sun Bed wars! Loads of beds available anytime of day. We were AI and couldn’t fault the food there was always a good choice. Breakfast you can get omlettes which were delicious cooked to order and there was all the usual breakfast things. Lunch again a good selection of hot and cold food on offer. Dinner was delicious. There was the usual buffet but also an Al La Carte selection which you ordered and was cooked to order and served at your table, we enjoyed every meal we had. Drinks are served at the table and you can order wine by the bottle which was very palatable. The staff at the hotel are amazing, all so friendly and polite and very helpful. Arturo behind the bar made the best cocktails and G&T and after only being there for 2 days he knew what we liked . The reception staff, Sandrine and the other ladies were wonderful and so helpful but Nicole has to get a special mention she was fabulous, she replied to all my emails before our arrival very promptly and was so helpful when we arrived.She was so friendly and professional and is an absolute credit to the hotel. Management please install Air Con in reception! The hotel is slightly on the outskirts of the main resort but that didn’t bother us as we like walking and is about 25mins to Marina Rubicón. There is a lot of steps too and the bungalows are tiered but there’s also ramps. There is rooms near reception and restaurant for anyone with mobility issues. Finally, would we stay here again.. absolutely! In fact we’re booking for next year and staying longer! If you want entertainment and activities every day this hotel probably isn’t for you as there isn’t any, but if you just want peaceful relaxing surroundings with background music it’s ideal.

We stayed for 5 nights early October on a half board basis . We had the aqua room which was very spacious and clean with our own plunge pool on the balcony which was fantastic. It’s a quiet place , which is why we opted to go here , before heading up to los pocillos for a further 12 days The food was exceptional! each night was different and there was 5 à la carte to choose from , which was cooked fresh for you . The buffet alongside was also great We opted to go AI for the last 4 days , and the drinks were great , although cocktails were run of the mill. The downside was that they run out of Bacardi over the weekend! Would we return? Most definitely, staff were fantastic and the hotel is kept very clean. Thanks Bocayana ! Fab holiday

We all absolutely loved this hotel. The bungalows are very spacious. We had a 2 bed, 2 bathroom. Lovely big terrace at the back with loungers and a seating area. The staff were so nice and friendly and couldn’t have been more helpful. The food was lovely too. I’m a vegetarian and there was plenty of choice. At dinner (there was buffet style) but you also could select one main option out of 4 specials and there was always a veggie one. They were so tasty. Best food I’ve had in an all inclusive. There is no kids club or entertainment but we really enjoyed the relaxed, quiet atmosphere. It was bliss not having to listen to noisy announcements every 5 minutes. We were there with our 2 grandchildren who had a great time. 100% will return.
