Hotel Cinco Plazas

Enjoyed our stay perfect location although we are in our seventies didn't find the hill to be a problem. Lovely apartment kept clean and regular change of towels. We liked it very much and have booked to return. One criticism and management must be aware as I see same reviews often plenty of sun beds but not brollies a lot broken and not replaced this situation needs to be addressed!!!!

Lovely apartments family friendly

Arrived 11.30am to be told cant check in yet as room was not available fair enough We went back at 1.30pm to check as instructed to be told come back at 3pm as our room was still not ready, we were still ok about this as we knew it may happen. We went and sat by the upper pool for an hour and a half just outside a couple of random apartment blocks. We went back as instructed at 3pm & were given our keys. To my amazement & anger we were given the keys to the apartment we had just sat outside in the blazing sun (No parasols available) for an hour and a half & no one in that time had gone in or out of it.. !!! So it had been ready from 1.30pm all along. We were blatantly LIED to by the disinterested man on reception. We were not too happy.. The TUI Rep & receptionist were just not interested in my polite complaint. Funnily enough we went in & out of the reception probably 20/30 times on our holiday & we got ZERO hellos or smiles from any of the receptionist on duty ...All that along with the way too loud music from the lower pool and the lack of Parasols available (unless you kept one in your room) has put us off coming back to this once great hotel. If you like a loud family holiday with no shade for the kids this hotel is for you. For older couples its a definite no go in my opinion.

Stayed here as a family of 6 with a 3 year old. We had two separate apartments. The apartments on arrival were spacious and clean. The could be doing with being upgraded especially the bathroom. Large balcony area. The location was central but a steep hill to climb to get to the apartments but about a 5 min walk downhill to main beach front shops restaurants. The pool area for my 3 year old grandson was great. There are 2 other pools. Pool areas clean but very slippery. Pool bar was a small area with few tables. Prices standard for pool bars. The snacks were ok toasties pizza etc but we preferred to eat out for lunch. The maid service was not good our room was tidied beds made floors cleaned every second day meaning in-between the floors were dirty wee did not have enough towels or toilet roll. Our shower was awful shower head basically a hole with water squirting out. The pool bar staff were great but we found some of the other staff to be quite dismissive. We asked to keep on a room as my daughter pregnant told no rooms basically it was the manner they spoke in. I don't believe the apartments were to full capacity. The holiday was fine perfect for kids..young children but would not stay here again.
