Hotel LIVVO Volcan Lanzarote

We love this hotel and our last stay was our sixth. We received a letter before our stay regarding possible noise from the neighbouring building works. Personally we didn’t hear anything and didn’t upset our holiday one bit. What makes this hotel special isn’t just the beautiful rustic charm it’s also the amazing staff…. Valeria always lovely to see her and receive her warm welcome. Hassan the amazing bartender and the lovely Hamid. Garson who was so happy to help in the dining room and of course our lovely room cleaning lady Johana. These are just a few to mention who genuinely want you to enjoy your experience at the Volcan. It was nice to see some improvements too. New keycards and door systems worked so much better and pool side sun loungers are great too. Maybe new umbrellas next time? If you’re thinking of booking this hotel you won’t be disappointed. Amazing breakfast,evening entertainment or a Stones throw to the amazing Rubicón Mariner. What more is needed :)

We absolutely love this hotel and keep coming back because of the location and how peaceful it is. We, like many other love sitting by the big lagoon. Pool. We appreciate the sound of the fountain and no music or noise. The hotel is so well laid out, with access straight onto the marina. Breakfast is lovely and located down by the lagoon pool in a lovely building that functions really well. Such friendly staff, both at breakfast and at reception. If you are lucky enough to have your room cleaned when you return from breakfast it really makes your day! Our favourite in Playa Blanca, it could be listed as adults only as few people stay with children. Please keep doing what you do well, it's the perfect place to relax and recharge. Peaceful and tranquil.

Hadn't stayed t the hotel for a few years but decided to return after trying other Playa Blanca hotels. We stayed a week in the Club and had an excellent time - highly recommended. Staff very welcoming , food, rooms and general ambiance of The Club area well worth the price.

Perfect location, right by Rubicon harbour, and 5 to 10 minute walk to Playa Blanca. So many places to eat good food, hidden places and main street, spoilt for choice. The staff are wonderful and a special shout out to Hamed, perfect service and a true gentleman

Beautiful hotel with many lovely features but room for improvement. Hotel is beautifully styled with lovely large lagoon style pool. It would help drown out the sound of nearby construction work by playing some music near that pool, nothing crazy loud needed. Pool bar very inconsistent. Service to the loungers was fairly infrequent and the quality of the cocktails was mixed with some tasting nothing like they were meant to. Service here was slow but the staff were mostly friendly. This fell short of 5 stars. Sun loungers not a problem, many free throughout the day. We booked Club but felt it wasn't worth the money. The Club Lounge is limited (6.30-8) for open bar and the lounge is dreary and cave like. It needs a serious update to reflect the cost, maybe moving the club to the rooftop area. The Club pool area was nice but had a larger English group when we were there who hogged the Bali beds, often not showing up until later in the day. Towels should be removed if not occupied by a certain time. The club lounge layout changed when we there from spread out couples and group settings to all couples on one side and groups on the other which left the couples side quite cramped and lacking any privacy. Breakfast was good apart from the warm sliced fruit and yoghurts which really need some refrigeration. Reception staff very friendly and accommodating. Lovely room but the beds are quite stiff. A beautiful hotel but these issues mentioned would prevent us from booking again.
