This was our 2nd visit in 7 weeks so obviously we enjoyed it the first time. They also accommodated my request to be located in the main part of the hotel & not over the bridge. The hotel has the usual RIU high standards in cleanliness etc & the food was good. I understand that while we were there it was the world cup and they wanted to show it for the guests, however, what I didn't like was 2 areas were used on some nights & the evening entertainment was not on in order to show the football which meant those who weren't interested in football only had one area to go with minimal entertainment. There were also a lot of children staying in the hotel for the junior european football competition and although they were out most of the day they were at times unruly in the evening. Aside from the above we had a great 2 weeks & would definitely return when visiting Lanzarote again.

We have just returned from a one-week stay at this hotel and, unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. The biggest issue was the food. The quality was extremely poor, repetitive and lacked variety. Much of it appeared to be processed or convenience food rather than freshly prepared meals. There were very limited healthy options available, and most dishes were greasy, heavily processed and often seemed to be repurposed from previous days. After a few days, every meal felt exactly the same. Another major disappointment was the language barrier. Apart from the reception staff, very few employees spoke English. On several occasions, we felt as though guests were expected to speak Spanish rather than staff making an effort to communicate with international visitors. This created an unwelcoming atmosphere and made even simple requests unnecessarily difficult. The hotel layout is also poorly organised. Most facilities and activities are concentrated in the main section of the resort. In the other section, the pool bar does not open until 9:30 am, meaning guests must walk to the main area or even to the neighbouring hotel for basic refreshments earlier in the morning. What surprised us most was the complete lack of visible management. During our entire one-week stay, we did not see a manager once. Given the number of issues throughout the resort, a stronger management presence would have been reassuring. On a positive note, I would like to thank the staff at the massage studio and especially Mariela, the hairdresser. They were professional, friendly and genuinely cared about their guests. They were, without question, the highlight of our stay and the only part of the hotel that exceeded our expectations. Overall, this hotel fell far below the standard we expected from a RIU property. We left feeling extremely disappointed and would not choose to stay here again.

Another visit to this great hotel. Fifteenth visit over the years . Staff are always very helpful and friendly. Food is good but a bit repetitive. Plenty of sun loungers and didn't see any mad rush at dawn to put towels on. Disappointed with the world cup coverage in the hotel, they didn't show any of the late games and most of the ones they did show without commentary. One of the reasons we picked here this year was the world cup.
