Overall we had a lovely holiday and we’re pleasantly surprised at the quality given the price we had paid. We had a suite in block 4 which was massive however it was an accessible room and the shower situation was frustrating with water leaks. The cleaners kindly provided extra towels but it was a shame. The room was clean and immaculate and we were impressed with the space particularly the balcony. We mostly ate breakfast in the ocean restaurant as loved being able to sit outside and it was a quieter dining experience. Same on an evening it was much more relaxed and quiet with fresh pastas cooked to order. I would highly recommend. We found the main dining hall noisey and warm which made us opt for the ocean restaurant more. The food options available were good however but the dining experience was stressful due to business and noise which wasn’t our vibe. We tended to use the snack bar during the day to avoid the dinner hall and enjoyed the sandwiches and hot food options there. I have no complaints over the food or variety as there was often themed nights including Italian and Asian which were all good. A lot of hake and pork however which wasn’t our bag but typical of an all inclusive in Spain. Breakfast was fine with fresh omlettes available and English sausages in the ocean restaurant which we loved. The Mexican à la carte restaurant was fantastic and broke up the week. The portion size was good and the desserts in particular very good. We loved the adults only pool and spent all week there as was perfect for a relaxing break. We spent a lot of time at the Irish bar opposite on an evening as wasn’t enough seats inside or outside at the evening entertainment which was a shame and the shows weren’t the best. Location wise we appreciated the short airport transfer time and found the resort pleasant enough but is quieter for those wanting a more party scene. Only negatives for us was the attitude of reception staff. Arrival and check in was fine as a younger girl but the older staff were dismissive and rude. Block 4 had an entrance which directly takes you to the Irish bar which we utilised a lot and was meant to be open till 11pm. The security guard on this door was rude and often ignored us and closed the door early. This meant a long walk around and then multiple lifts to get back to our block therefore I reported to reception when we walked thru. No sympathy or apology just “he finish early”. Other negative for us was the lifts. We were on the 7th floor and they were often out of order ir being fixed. Really frustrating at 6 months pregnant especially in the heat. Overall a lovely holiday and at the right price we would return again. A special thank you to the main restaurant staff who always spoke and made us feel welcome.

We have just returned from our family holiday in Tenerife and, although there were some positives, unfortunately there were quite a few things that let this hotel down. Firstly, our initial experience at reception was incredibly disappointing. The staff were miserable, didn’t smile and made absolutely no effort to make us feel welcome. After a long day travelling with young children, a friendly welcome would have made such a difference. Sadly, this really set the tone for our first impressions. One of our biggest frustrations was the number of unexpected deposits required, particularly considering we had paid for an all-inclusive holiday. We were told we needed to pay a €10 deposit per pool towel, something we hadn’t been made aware of before arriving. As we hadn’t brought many euros with us, this meant six of us ended up sharing just two towels! We were then told we needed to pay a further €5 deposit for a token to get a reusable drinks cup. Again, this hadn’t been made clear beforehand. My parents hadn’t brought any euros, so they had to borrow money from us just to be able to get a drink! Card payments or paying in pounds weren’t accepted for these deposits. Surely, if you’re paying for an all-inclusive holiday, you should be able to access drinks without needing cash deposits? What would have happened if none of us had brought euros? Would we simply have been unable to get a drink? It was a really frustrating and unnecessary start to our holiday. The lifts were also frequently out of order, meaning I had to carry our pram and baby up the stairs on several occasions, which was far from ideal when travelling with little ones. The evening entertainment was held indoors, and most evenings there simply weren’t enough seats for everyone. We often found ourselves standing at the back because all the tables and chairs were taken. There was also only one bar serving the entertainment area, meaning queues were often extremely long just to get a drink. The kids’ club was probably one of the most disappointing aspects of our stay. It was completely lacking in atmosphere, with no music, activities or interaction from the staff member. On one occasion, the member of staff was sitting scrolling through TikTok on her phone while children were in her care. We actually witnessed children walking out of the building without her noticing until she eventually looked up from her phone. This was extremely concerning and certainly didn’t give us confidence in the supervision or safety of the children. The sunbed situation was another frustration. Unless you got up early to reserve one, you had very little chance of getting a sunbed for the day. However, notices were then being placed on people’s sunbeds warning that their towels would be removed if they didn’t return within 30 minutes. It all felt rather stressful when you’re supposed to be relaxing on holiday! On a more positive note, the hotel offered a free daily shuttle bus to Los Cristianos and Playa de las Américas, which was a lovely addition. However, the timings weren’t particularly convenient. You either had around three hours in the morning or had to stay out until 6pm, which was far too long for us with young children. There were definitely some positives worth mentioning. The hotel itself was absolutely spotless! The cleaning staff worked incredibly hard and were constantly mopping, cleaning and maintaining the hotel to a very high standard. We couldn’t fault the cleanliness whatsoever. Another huge positive was how accommodating the restaurant staff were with my husband’s coeliac disease. They were absolutely fantastic, regularly providing gluten-free snacks and preparing gluten-free meals for him. This made such a difference and was genuinely appreciated. The catering staff deserve real recognition for this. We also upgraded to a family suite for an additional €50, as we had originally been allocated a room in the non-family section of the hotel. The family section was much better located, particularly for accessing the swimming pools and facilities with children. For anyone booking, I would definitely recommend looking at the one-bedroom suites, as these seemed to be the better option for families. Overall, we had an okay holiday, but unfortunately we wouldn’t return to this hotel. The cleanliness and the wonderful support with gluten-free food were definite highlights, but there were too many disappointing aspects that affected our experience. The unfriendly reception staff gave us a terrible first impression, and the unexpected cash deposits were particularly frustrating for an all-inclusive resort. These requirements should be made very clear before guests arrive so families can prepare accordingly. With some improvements to customer service, children’s facilities, entertainment seating and the deposit system, this hotel could offer a much better experience. Unfortunately, for us, it just didn’t live up to expectations.
