Alua Atlantico Golf Resort

Hi just returned from alua Atlántico Resort in golf de sur Arrived around 10.30 pm to a reasonably quick check in Although no food available even for Kate arrivals We requested a high level floor which we got on the 7th floor in block 4 great view of the ocean and the Marina The room was a suite and was beautiful Very clean The restaurants gave a variety of food every day And the alicarte restaurant which you had to book we got the Mexican and it was fantastic Recomended The allocation of the drinks was a bit on the iffy side On arrival we were given 2tokens for a 5euro deposit When you go to the bar you get 2drinks you hand over your tokens And when your finished your drinks you hand back your glasses etc they give you your tokens back etc Pools were very clean and plenty of sun loungers although you have to be reasonably early to get a good spot with a brolly Entertainment in the evening was ok with a different act each night I recommend the ocean restaurant this is a bit smaller but better laid out they also have entertainment on that level at the weekend ( a violinist a saxophone player And on the Friday there was a keyboard player During the day all drinks are served in plastic type cups and the cocktails were awful Overall we had a good week and would go again cheers mate

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Lovely hotel – would definitely recommend! We had such a lovely warm welcome on arrival at Alua Atlántico Golf Resort. The reception team were so friendly, helpful and good-humoured, which immediately gave the hotel a really nice feel. Our room was spacious and absolutely spotless, with great air conditioning and really comfortable beds. There’s a large wardrobe with plenty of hangers (always a bonus! 😄) and lovely toiletries in the bathroom too. Saturday night was Mexican themed night and the food was absolutely delicious! 🌮🇲🇽 So much choice, beautifully presented and clearly a lot of effort goes into it. The chefs and restaurant team do a brilliant job and were friendly and welcoming too. Then it was onto the bar for cocktails 🍹 — great presentation, a fun atmosphere and, again, such happy and friendly staff. The cocktails certainly added to the holiday mood! The whole hotel just has a lovely, relaxed and welcoming feel about it. Clean, comfortable, great food, great drinks and, most importantly, genuinely lovely staff. We’re really enjoying our stay and would definitely recommend Alua Atlántico Golf Resort. 💙🌴☀️🍹

My sister and I stayed at the Alua Atlantico Golf from 21–25 September. Hotel: A large hotel (it used to be two hotels) with facilities on both sides. Reviews seemed to suggest that Block 1 was quieter than Block 4, and I think this would probably be the case during peak season. However, when we were there, Block 4 was definitely quieter. That said, our room was located away from the entertainment area and was extremely quiet. In fact, this is probably the quietest hotel we have stayed in. The doors are heavy, so it is difficult for people to inconsiderately allow them to slam shut. Our room was spacious, with a beautiful bathroom which included a large walk-in shower. Probably the best bathroom/shower we have had on holiday. The food was what you might expect for an AI, with no real complaints. A token system is used for cups, which is no bother. However, we did take our own plastic cups, which the staff were happy to fill. There was a good choice of wine, beer, cocktails, slushes and soft drinks available with clear menus and price lists (where applicable). I particularly liked that coffee was available all day, rather than, as is more commonly seen, just at breakfast. There was self service for wine, beer and soft drinks in block 1 which was convenient and avoided any queuing. The hotel was clean and, with the exception of two staff members, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. One member of staff around the pool told me that my polite request for help adjusting the parasol to get some shade was ‘self-centred’. Another staff member in the restaurant on our final morning insisted that we sit at a two-person table, despite it being 7:50am and the restaurant being three-quarters empty. A special mention to Yeni, who was working in the restaurant in Block 1, and Alejandro, who worked in the bar in the evenings in Block 1. Both staff members were particularly outstanding. Pool towels are available with a €10 deposit. You pay at reception, who issue a card which you pass to a lifeguard in exchange for a towel. On return, just reverse the process. Location: The hotel is only a 20-minute transfer from the airport, which is ideal. Yes, the drawback is the planes flying overhead, but they are not intrusive and we quite enjoyed a bit of plane spotting. It is generally a quiet location compared to more touristy areas, but this is exactly what we wanted. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus to Playa de las Américas and Los Cristianos, departing from the hotel at 9:30am and 3:00pm. Return times are 12:15–12:30pm and 6:15–6:30pm, depending on where you return from. Book at reception. We got the shuttle to Playa de las Américas and walked back to Los Cristianos along the promenade, which took approximately 1.5 hours. The hotel is next to the marina, where you can go left or right and walk along the seafront/promenade. A lovely four-night stay, giving us everything we had wanted, and we would happily recommend this hotel to others.

Just returned from a lovely holiday to Alua Atlantico. The hotel is so clean & the staff are so friendly x Our room was spacious with a lovely sea view. Food was a bit repetitive, but plenty of choice & very fresh x There were a lot of returning guests which says it all. I would definately return & recommend the hotel Thank you to all the fantastic staff for a great holiday

Have been coming to this hotel for 20 years and it has improved every time I have visited. Came with my son this time for a week to chill out. As always a lovely stress free time Will definitely be back and would highly recommend.
