AluaSoul Orotava Valley

This hotel is located slightly out of the main centre of town but it's convenient to walk in. There are and bars and shops close by too. However, it's up a really steep hill and less pleasant to walk back. It's built on this hill so that the Reception level is 4 floors up, but level with the road at the top. As you walk up the hill - great exercise - there is a lower entrance but this is closed. It would be great if this was accessible by guests!!! There's also a free bus into the town centre a few times a day. We stayed bed and breakfast and had to wear a wristband to show this which seemed unnecessary. The breakfast buffet was really well stocked with a wide variety of food. Drinks and pool snacks are much more reasonably priced that i expected and there's chilled water available by the pool. The rooms are pleasant and very clean - choose a sea view if you can. There are signs of wear and tear but nothing major. Staff are friendly and helpful, with some activities in the daytime and nighttime entertainment. All in all we had a pleasant stay here. Having access to the lower entrance would have been great. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with mobility issues, though, due to the steep hill location.

We had a wonderful week at the hotel and were satisfied with everything. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and our room was clean. The breakfast was also very delicious, although it could have been a little more varied throughout the week. Nevertheless, we were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

This was my 5th year at this hotel. I enjoyed my stay; the staff is very nice, I feel safe and looked after, nice and quiet. Food quality however got worse since 2024; it's not that Spanish quality and so much variety unfortunately. Is more American food mainly, unfortunately, especially this year. Consider not having all-inclusive anymore next year because of the food quality.

Hotel was lovely with great staff. Housekeeping in particular was great. So clean and tidy. Thank you for a relaxing 5-night holiday!

Lovely hotel, very well looked after, just what we needed. We had a room over looking the teide mountain. It was stunning. I highly recommend this hotel.
