Appartements Parque del Sol

When we arrived, there was no one at all out in reception to greet us , but someone did appear a short time later. Wasn’t ever acknowledged whilst walking through the reception the whole time we were there. We were in H block on the middle floor, facing the pool. Nice location with a pleasant usable balcony. Pretty walk to room. Inside of the apartment was OK. Not particularly comfortable for sitting, but bedroom was comfy enough and quiet. Ceiling fans adequate for October but should imagine not good in high season. Cleaning of the room was OK. Fridge had crumbs in it on arrival. No problems getting sun beds any time of day, little amount of reserving going on. The restaurant for breakfast was quite nice if got there early with adequate, as expected, 3 star food. Evening meal was terrible. Selections not replaced once empty, I had cold food that should have been hot. Also had incorrectly labelled food. Water not included with evening meal. Ate in the restaurant twice to give it a second chance, then ate out rest of the time in the evening. Poolside restaurant was spoilt by people thinking it was ok to smoke right next to us while we ate, despite there not being any ash trays. Infact people were smoking wherever they felt like it throughout the complex. I’m not sure what the rules were, but this un policed selfish behaviour would absolutely stop me from staying here again.

The restaurant can be very busy and noisy. The evening meal is only just acceptable, there is not a lot of choice and an overuse of Pork. The breakfast was always quite good although bacon is poor quality. Our main grip is that there as been no smoked salmon for over a full week . this was one thing we really enjoyed. It was offered 2 or 3 times a week together with a glass of cava. We are hoping it is just a supply shortage and not a further reduction of the kitchens budget. We have also noticed a big reduction in cut fresh fruit at breakfast. I watched one day there was a tray of grapes and melon. When these were empty they were removed and not replaced, this was at 9 am!! Other holiday makers are saying Parma ham as also been removed from the breakfast menu. We feel now that everyone staying has no alternative but to pay for half board it is only business sense for the hotel to provide good quality meals with an acceptable choice. There are a lot of people here with a deep loyalty to the hotel and the staff, but it now seems to be wearing thin if they are coming out of the restaurant where choice and standards are being eroded

Our experience at these apartments, as well as my interactions with the staff, was excellent. From the moment we arrived at reception, the staff were professional, friendly, and helpful throughout our holiday. The apartment was exceptionally clean, and housekeeping serviced it daily, with the exception of Fridays. The housekeeping team did an outstanding job and maintained very high standards throughout our stay. We booked the half-board option and had no issues with either the food quality or the menu selection. We chose to eat out on a few evenings simply for a change of scenery rather than out of necessity. The poolside bar was a great spot for lunch, offering a lovely atmosphere and excellent food. The burgers, in particular, are well worth trying. Our apartment was located in Block C, which meant we benefited from the evening sunshine, a feature that really enhanced our stay. Overall, I cannot fault the apartments, the staff, or the complex itself. I would highly recommend these apartments as they are ideally located and within easy reach of all local amenities.

This is our second time staying in Parque del Sol. Rooms immaculately cleaned everyday bar a Friday. Breakfast very good loads of choice, buffet style omelettes made to order. Great location, staff very friendly. Well equipped gym Only negative is the no air conditioning

Very disappointed as extremely hot and no air conditioning, arrived late at night got handed a map to find our apartment, really dark walked round, went back to reception and very rude receptionist told us no one available to assist us , eventually another pair of guests who were familiar with place helped us to find room , food was also very poor , will never go back to this place . Very disappointed
