Shows were excellent but that was where the praise stops. Food was extremely average with little variety and it was usually on the cold side. I am coeliac and there were no gluten free desserts on any menu either at the buffet or in the restaurants. I ordered a chocolate cake for my daughter’s 40th birthday. A well meaning member of staff told the kitchen to make it without gluten, eggs or milk to fit some of our family’s allergies. I specifically asked that we just had an ordinary chocolate cake but this was ignored and the cake tasted disgusting. I am 64 and disabled. I had an accident on the last day - part of the filter strip at the edge of the pool broke when I walked on it and my foot fell down the hole while my other leg shot to the side as I fell to the floor. Someone called two life guards for me. One poked my leg with one finger and said ‘it’s only pain you can see the doctor at 2.00 if you want’ (this was just gone 12.00). He reluctantly got 3 ice cubes in a rubber glove. No first aider was called even though I couldn’t put my foot to the floor. Luckily my family got my mobility scooter and helped me. I saw the doctor who informed me that I had pulled my hamstring and the muscles around it and down my leg. He said the hotel should pay his fee (€70) as it was their fault. He tried on our behalf but they refused, saying we had to claim from our insurance. Eventually we paid his fee as it was not his fault and he did not work for the hotel. I asked to speak to the manager and was told they would email and ask for an appointment which might be that day but maybe not. I insisted on speaking to a duty manager. Eventually someone came. They reluctantly agreed to pay the doctor’s fee but only if I signed a waiver completely exonerating the hotel and saying that I had been fully compensated. I refused. I had to ask for an apology from the hotel. I was really upset and was left feeling that I was an inconvenience and that I was making an unnecessary fuss. Accidents happen - it is the response that really counts. We will never return and would never recommend this hotel.
Recently returned from a holiday at this hotel with my wife and our 7-month-old, and we honestly couldn’t have had a better time. From start to finish, everything was fantastic, and we genuinely couldn’t fault the hotel. The location is brilliant — nice and peaceful, while still being close enough to everything. It’s away from the hustle and bustle of Las Américas, which was perfect for us, especially travelling with a young baby. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was great, with lots of families and a really relaxed, welcoming feel. It’s absolutely ideal for children and families. We upgraded to a family room, even though there were only three of us, and it was stunning! The room was huge, with loads of space, very modern, spotless and beautifully presented. We couldn’t fault it at all. The staff deserve a huge amount of credit too. They genuinely don’t stop! The pool areas were being cleaned every morning and again every evening, and everywhere throughout the hotel was kept incredibly clean. All of the staff we encountered were friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. The buffet restaurant was lovely, with a huge amount of choice and something for everyone. A special shout-out to the steak restaurant as well — it was very modern, the food was superb, and it was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, we absolutely loved our holiday here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone, especially families. We’ve already said we can’t wait to come back in the near future! 5 stars from us! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thank you we had a super time at the hotel We would recommend this hotel. Very clean, staff where super helpfull we will be coming back again
Loved every minute, great for kids
Fabulous hotel for adults and families. It’s just as good as our last visit. There are plenty of activities available (foam party, mini trampoline exercise in the pool - to name two) for all ages, shows of a professional nature in the theatre, and 7, yes 7 pools, one of which is an Infinity pool for adults only. Plus the rooms with their own swim up pool!! Food in the buffet restaurant was varied to suit everyone including those with dietary needs. There was always a very clean environment with very friendly staff attending to you with drinks etc, especially Faisal who went over and above his duties to ensure we had a great experience. All bars were well stocked with a mixture of non alcoholic soft drinks and beer on a self serve basis. On an evening, Lobby Bar has excellent team members who can mix a cocktail with ease, if not on the menu, just ask Carlos’s or Cecilia and they will mix for you. Musical entertainment in both the Lobby Bar and the outside bar was excellent. The rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable. Accessories such as hair and body wash were provided for the bathroom with towels for both here and the pools. All changed daily. There were always plenty of sun beds available, and all poolside areas regularly cleaned. The hotel has a very short airport transfer, and also 2 minutes away from the bus stop to the other towns. This is a hotel I will return to, as it has everything you need for either an active or relaxing holiday.
