Bahia Principe Explore Fantasia

I am writing this review based on my own personal experience and what my family and I encountered. We were a family of six adults and one 18 month old and we stayed for 1 week. Firstly the hotel itself is lovely, it’s very modern and is ideal for families, I would not recommend this hotel for couples purely on the basis everything is catered for families rather than couples etc. There is a quiet area at the very bottom of the hotel which is adults only, this consists of an infinity pool and bar. The pool itself is very large and has one at the top and bottom, the bottom is mainly for kids as it has a little water park and the top is the quiet area for adults. The food like all inclusive hotels does get monotonous after a while, however we still enjoyed it. You can book the other restaurants if you want a different atmosphere and food. Outside of the hotel is very derelict, there isn’t much going on unless you head into Playa Las Americas, it’s approx a 10 min taxi ride from the hotel. The rooms themselves are very spacious, clean and are very modern, these rooms are the best I’ve stayed in for quite sometime. The fridges are stocked up daily with softs drinks and alcohol, they have a water station on every floor which allows you to fill up the glass jug they provide and it’s accessible 24/7. They also had a baby room for sterilising bottles etc and a microwave to heat up milk etc. I highly recommend getting tickets to Siam park as it’s by far the best water park I’ve been to in Europe. There are plenty of other excursions to go on and there will be one for everyone to enjoy. This hotel is value for money providing you’ve paid under £1100 each I think if I paid more I wouldn’t have been overly impressed. The hotel in my opinion is a 4* plus and not quite a 5*. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who has never been but once you’ve gone I don’t believe I would go again unless I got a very good deal. Overall we had a lovely time and there are more positives than negatives and we certainly would take the negative reviews with a pinch of salt.

10 mins from airport so expect aircraft traffic every few mins , for an all inclusive it’s not an all inclusive , loads of hidden extra prices , seriously don’t bother with premium WiFi the normal one works fine , cabana beds are €51 per day you get a bottle of cava , A packet of crisp and a packet of corn snack , loads of steps , see so many couples hoisting buggies up n down stairs , food was ok , the claim of 7 pools is wrong , 1 pool has a walkway splitting it into 3 and the other 2 you can swim in as they are 0.25 cm deep for kids splash area , no premium brand drinks and drink selection is limited , we had no bell boy to take and collect bags so had to deal and carry them up and down stairs to reception , it’s only claim for 5 star is it offers a laundry service (of which is extra obviously ) that is it , originally they were out offering t shirts for a good trip advisor review but trip advisor took it down cos it was bribery , room was good food ran out in the dinning area at night , Basic stuff in room soap shampoo , conditioner that’s it . Asked for extra towels took them a week to do it . If you want more bang for your buck got to a 5 star in Turkey same length flight time ,

We absolutely loved our first stay in this hotel! The kids entertainment is 5 star and so much for them to do! I was worried about the food as there was a lot of negative reviews but for a buffet the selection was great. It is a bit samey but for a buffet that’s what I would expect! I like return tomorrow!!

Excellent. Clean. Food okay. Service excellent. Sea view. David at infinity bar. Will give more details when back home but great

We visited Bahia principe fantasia as a family and what a lovely luxury experience. Worth every minute and penny. Samba there was amazing, highly recommend!!
