Best Tenerife

We spent a week at Best Tenerife at the end of September to the start of October 2026. We went for bed and breakfast. The hotel is very clean with kind and generous staff at the reception, cleaning the rooms and accommodating the restaurant. There are regular activities such as Aquarobics and Water Polo which are terrific fun. The breakfast food is lovely and doesn’t run out despite how busy the hotel is. The pool and outdoor area is beautiful and kept well and there are smaller pools for children. My only recommendation would be better Wi-Fi connection, as there is no connectivity in the rooms, only in the communal areas.

Hotel is nice and clean. Disappointed that we have paid all inclusive and the drinks don’t start until 10am and finish at 11pm so not a long time open for drinks. Also there is only two places you can get drinks. By the pool or the main bar in reception but this only opens 4.30pm-11 so if you’re wanting a drink through the day you have to go all the way outside to the pool. Very saddened also that the pool for the last three days have been full of like worms. We have told the hotel and they are reluctant to shut the pool and clean or sort this issue which has ruined the rest of our holiday now as our little boy loves the pool and with him being a toddler is the only thing he wants to do

Been on so many all inclusive holidays over the last 25 years with my family, we seldom complain and usually are OK with the whole all inclusive package as most are similar, Hotel Best is probably the worst we have ever been to, mould everywhere from the rooms to the sun canopies, daughter went upstairs to change my grandson find some strange man leaving her room as she got there, thought it was maintenance but no, he had stolen money and searched through empty purses etc, went to management who downplayed everything, one night later my sister in laws door was opened and then quickly shut when he heard someone was in, again management reaction was dismissive and denial, will never return, 2 star at best and TUI need to be looking at dropping this midden from their catalogue of hotels, I could go further about the cold food and laughable eating choice but I won't bother, give this place a big miss.

Location is central to all amenities in Playa de las Americas. The overall feel of the hotel is relaxed and is a very nice place to stay. Food from the restaurant is lovely and varies from day to day. Pool area lovely too with a waterfall. We stayed in a family room which was a little dated but otherwise nice. Cleaned daily.

We stayed at Best Tenerife from 25 July to 1 August 2026 on an all-inclusive package booked through Loveholidays. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Our initial room had mould around the air conditioning and ceiling, which we reported first thing in the morning. We were then made to wait until midday and had to view four different rooms before finding one we were willing to accept. We feel the first room should have been of an acceptable standard, and we lost a significant part of our first day dealing with this. We also experienced poor shower pressure, fluctuating water temperature and peeling bathroom panelling. The food was very repetitive, and we ate dinner outside the hotel three times despite being all-inclusive. There was also an uncomfortable incident where a member of staff knocked once and immediately entered our room without waiting for an answer. We raised our concerns with the hotel and Loveholidays, but our complaint was ultimately rejected. Everyone’s experience is different, but based on ours, we would not return to Best Tenerife.
