Cleopatra Palace

the Cleopatra is a lovely hotel in the very best position the staff are excellent and we always have a great time there

Our stay was lovely and we were well looked after by all staff. The reception staff are excellent and very helpful. I have difficulty with mobility issues and the only thing I find difficult is getting in and out of the bath to have a shower. They do give me slip mats for inside and outside of the bath but very difficult accessibility. Apart from that all is okay. It would be far better to have a walk in shower but there is no availability there at the Cleopatra. As it is very warm in Tenerife having showers are a great asset but difficult for me and my husband has to help. The cafe beside the pool is excellent. The staff are so nice and always on the go. Delivering drinks, food etc to the clients. They are a god send as I said I’m not very mobile at times. They are to commended for their service. We frequently go to Tenerife and always use the Cleopatra hotel for our stay, about 4 times a year and out next visit will be on the 29th December for 2 weeks and looking forward to it already. Our room which we like is 9202 which is excellent. It has a lovely view and you can see the sea and it’s quiet outside at night. Once again all the staff and the cleanliness of the rooms are great but would recommend that the furniture and rooms need updated. It is now starting to look dated. Saying that we won’t change our choice of hotel we appreciate the location and enjoy the welcome we always receive from the reception down to the restaurant. Very welcoming staff there as well. Breakfast is good and timings just right. And the atmosphere with the piano playing as absolutely lovely and relaxing. Don’t change that. All in all we always have a lovely time and it is much appreciated. Thank you.

I have Stayed at the Cleopatra 3 times now, latest stay was in July. It never lets you down, staff are amazing so friendly and helpful. I do understand that rooms need an upgrade however I would hate to see the Hotel lose its charm and character. While the Mediterranean Palace is beautiful I found it very clinical and impersonal. I would definitely return to the Cleopatra Palace without hesitation

What a wonderful hotel, beautiful lobby & pool area & room spacious with a mini fridge. On our 1st night we where placed in a room near to the Hard Rock Cafe, which I found to be very noisy with music going onto late and staff then working very early, I mentioned this to reception and within 15 minutes we were moved to a much quieter room. Breakfast is very good with a vast selection for everyone, the pianist playing every morning is a lovely touch. On 2 occasions we used the spa which is beautiful and very reasonable, I would highly recommend. If you want to de-stress and relax then this is the hotel too book, already looking too book for next year.

Another excellent 14 night stay in one of the sea facing rooms. Careful which room you book as some are very close to the Hard Rock Cafe and must be very noisy, un-like our room which was lovely and quiet. Get there before it closes for refurbishment which they say could be 2027. While there they seemed to be having an issue with the wifi as it was only 2-3Mbps in our room which is ok for Google and emails but not much else. 40-50Mbps on the same wifi channel in the adjacent Mediterianian and Sir Anothony Hotels, which are all part of the same hotel group.
