Cleopatra Palace

Location fab the hotel is clean and looks very nice, it could do with a refurbishment. I was disappointed on my second visit as the waiting staff we dealt with were not friendly at all that is not to say others weren’t, you have to pay now if you want to go into the Mediterranean palace. We asked for a quiet room but you could hear the loud music from the strip every night. It is a nice hotel but after this experience we prefer the Mediterranean palace.

Just back from 8 nights at the Cleopatra Palace, and whilst the hotel is a bit dated (closing for refurb in April I believe) we had a fantastic time here. Hotel is spotlessly clean, staff are all very friendly, great choice at the buffet breakfast and nice surroundings to have it in. The best part of the hotel is the location, beach front access at one end and the golden mile at the other. You can also walk through the tunnel to the Mediterranean next door and have a meal in one of there à la carte restaurants which we did. Another major plus point is Stella on draft at pool bar 👍

Hotel is very tired but I do believe it is going to be refurbished on 2027..hotel has a problem with guests vaping around the pool and not using the smoking area for this activity..had a terrible experience on morning I checked out my wallet went missing and hotel was to follow up regarding this terrible incident as I was rushing to get a flight back home but they didnt there is no security /customer care..unfortunately they think customer care is offering you a welcome drink on arrival but this has to go deeper than this..

Huge hotel that was clearly built at a time when real estate was cheap. There is so much empty space in this hotel that it seems impossible to create any soul or atmosphere in it. Rooms are very dated as well and had a slight musty smell. Location is perfect and staff terribly nice but the hotel has the same amount of atmosphere as the moon!

So so disappointed in our stay here , the place is in need of refurbishing the bedroom we stayed in was terrible , as the photos show , the buffet breakfast was no better , everything about this place is well below par , if you was staying on a 2 star cheap budget hotel then fair enough , this is meant to be one of the nicest hotels in Las Americas, let me assure you its absolutely not , apart from the location it has absolutely nothing to give . Stay away book somewhere else you WILL be disappointed.
