Domes Baobab Suites

What a fabulous find. We had a divinity bliss room and it had everything you could wish for. A washing machine meant no dirty laundry when home. A freezer which meant we could bulk buy food for evening when we wanted to cook and have ice cream too. Yes it is uphill but perfectly walkable down to town. Taxis back plentiful and between 5-6 euros. The hotel offers one free taxi return to the beach or shopping centre up until 5pm each day. We’d often walk down and use the return voucher for heavy shopping bags. If you want fresh meat and fish, the large hyper dino in Siam Mall is your place. There’s a free bus runs from outside Dukes shopping centre. The pool is fabulous and heated. Never overcrowded and great views. There are a lot of private pools in this complex which leaves pool free for the rest. Breakfast had everything you could wish. Very attentive staff. The reception staff are excellent. They have a WhatsApp service to communicate with them. I used this several times and had almost instant replies. Once our tv had stopped working. A new one was fitted same day. The balcony was huge. 2 very comfy sofas, 2 sun beds and a table with 4 chairs. 2 retractable awnings. Comfortable bed and bedding with good ac. Bath and separate large walk in shower. 2 bottles of still water left each day, nespresso coffee pods replaced, dishwasher tabs left daily. Need to get own wash powder though. I hope I’ve covered everything that I would want to read in a review. If back in the area, we will be back. If not, will use the others in the group.

Amazing 5 night stay at this wonderful hotel! Arrived later than expected but the reception team ensured the restaurant stayed open until 11pm so we could have food. Great food and service (shout out to Vadim in the BB pool lounge) in all of the hotel restaurants. Breakfast was really good with something for everyone. Reception team were helpful, friendly and efficient..room was clean as were the swimming pools and all areas of the hotel. The hotel itself is up a slight hill. The hotel does provide a complimentary taxi during the day which is a bonus. In the evening, we enjoyed walking to the seafront bars and restaurants so we would stroll down the hill and catch a taxi, which were reasonably priced, back to the hotel! A wonderful holiday experience where the team makes you feel incredibly welcome! We will definitely return!!

After making a tremendous impression 4 years ago, this September has been our 3rd stay here in the last four years. Baobab suites has a unique approach with its high quality, minimalists apartment style layouts, rather than cramming everything into a studio. The kitchens are also very well stocked with appliances and cutlery. Coupled with fantastic balcony areas, it makes a perfect place for when you’re travelling with children or extended family. It’s a true five star experience. One of the best breakfast services available at any hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Alexandria in particular was a star (and has been in previous occasions too!) There is two pool areas. A more private one in the 3rd floor. The 2nd floor main pool is great for very young children as it combines a small sandy beach type area with a baby pool, in addition to the main main area. Yes, the hotel is up a hill and that should be a consideration if you’ve got mobility issues. However, it gives the hotel spectacular views of either the sea or the mountain, but also strategically places the hotel between Costa Adeje and La Caleta which is a location that does not get the credit it deserves. Generally it’s a very peaceful and tranquil place. The only downside is the children’s club, whilst quite well stocked and schedules with toys, games and activities, it is only insured to leave children 4+ years, which is a little frustrating when you have a 3.5 year old and seeking an hour of peace. But it’s a very small draw back and a useful facility for the kids never the less, if needed. Already planning the next visit!

Experience was amazing from the moment we stepped off the coach. Staff was there to greet us and take our luggage. We were then offered wine or water on arrival. We had an hour wait until our room was ready, so was given a complimentary drinks voucher for the bar. Staff were so friendly and helpful for the whole of our stay from reception staff to housekeepers. They really could never do enough for you. We stayed in the Serenity Mar suite with private pool and jacuzzi. I can’t fault anything about the room. It was so private and very quiet. We had a bottle of wine waiting on arrival in our room. It was my birthday whilst there and they left balloons, cake, drink voucher and a bottle of champagne for me. They didn’t have to do this, but it made my birthday even more special. They left 2 bottles of water everyday for us which was a lovely thing to do and saved on having to buy our own. Food in the hotel was some of the best food we have eaten and ate there often. Location was on top of a hill which was fine walking down, but a killer to walk back up. Everything was so close like El Duke and Fanabe, so we got taxis there as they were cheap. It is within walkable distance though if you are happy to walk in the heat. The hotel is very quiet and if you don’t have a private pool the main pool is very quiet and would often find it empty. I can’t fault anything about this hotel. We are definitely coming back in 2 years time. We have looked at cheaper hotels near by, but nothing compares to Baobab now. I can not recommend this hotel enough, you will love everything about it

Our fourth visit to the Baobab Suites and planning to go again next year. So easy to relax and unwind in our room with our own pool. The cleaners are friendly, thorough and helpful. The breakfasts are excellent with a varied choice for everyone’s tastes. I recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to relax and chill.
