Gran Hotel Taoro

Fantastic 7 days in this beautiful hotel. Cleanliness, food, staff, facilities exceptional. Thank you all so much, I’ll be back!

It was our 9th visit at the hotel. We love Tenerife and visit it every year, almost 20 years. And this is our favorite hotel at the island. As always the staff is brilliant, the garden is paradise and the environment is calm and relaxing. This time we stayed at the 4 floor on the main building and we had both a Teide view and a See view. Amazing!!!

A solo traveller from the UK. Loved my stay here. Beautiful location. Big rooms as standard and a lovely short walk to the swimming pool,to the sound of parrots, cool vibe. The staff so helpful and friendly everyday. I forgot my travel adapter but they had them at reception. Any trips reception were able to take their time and help me with. Great atmosphere , quiet for sleeping. The restaurant amazing. As a solo traveller was a pleasure eating here . The food was excellent with a varied menu. Eat as much as you like with great service. Definitely looking forward to my next visit.

Really enjoyed ourselves. Lovely rooms with a great view of the gardens. Staff were great and couldn't do more for you. Swimming pool fine and plenty of sunbeds. We were half board so had breakfast every morning...plenty of choice. Dinner time was a bit of hit and miss. If you're not mobile it could be a bit of a problem as the hotel us at the top of a VERY steep hill. The hotel runs an hourly(free) bus on most days so that obviously helps. If you're down in the town after the bus stops (5.30 pm) a taxi is only around €6. I'd give this hotel a 4.5 /5 if we could. Only slight fault is the dinner and evening entertainment which we didn't go there for .

Great hotel- clean well equipped rooms, good choices of menu,very friendly and efficient staff, nice pool with outdoor bar. Quiet ,sheltered location with well kept gardens and shuttle bus service to town. Recommend it without reservation.
