HD Parque Cristobal Tenerife

Just returned home from a brilliant family holiday here. The hotel is super clean and the food variety for all-inclusive is great, especially the snacks served at the bar! However, the absolute highlight of our trip was the animation team! Rio, Sergio, Erika, Anna, and Amelie were completely outstanding. They went above and beyond every day, always keeping us busy with great activities and making this a holiday we will never forget. They made it so special for our whole family. Even involving my 4 year old daughter in the adult activities! Rio, Sergio, and Anna even joined us one evening for drinks at a bar away from the hotel, which was such a wonderful personal touch. Thank you all so much for the amazing memories!

We were staying at the hotel and our package includes breakfast and dinner. After returning from a boat trip, we went to the restaurant to ask if we could pay for lunch, as we understood that lunch was not included. Before eating, I specifically showed the waiter my wristband and asked about lunch. He checked it and told me that we could have lunch, that water was free, and that we only needed to pay for alcoholic drinks and other drinks. Based on what the waiter told us, we went ahead and had the buffet lunch. While we were eating, the manager I think his name was Josie then came over and told us that lunch was not included. We were told that we would either have to pay for the lunch or essentially give up our dinner and have lunch instead. This was really upsetting because we had specifically asked before eating to avoid exactly this situation. We relied on the information given to us by a member of staff, so it was very frustrating to then be told something completely different after we had already eaten. I understand that the hotel may have different meal arrangements, but the communication between staff needs to be much clearer. If lunch wasn’t included, we should have been told that before we sat down and ate. Hopefully the hotel can improve communication between staff so other guests aren’t put in the same uncomfortable position.

Reception is a shambles and at 11pm the last thing you need to be arguing about is a missing bungalow….once it was sorted (midnight and all tui’s fault) we got to our bungalows that were all different and totally mixed up ( family’s with kids , bigger bungalows and games rooms etc) we arrived at our no65 and it was a complete s*** hole dirtiest place I have ever been allocated. Next morning we went straight to the reception and after an hour we had a meeting with the head cleaner and she was disgusted by the state of the room and we got moved INSTANTLY. To be fair our new room and the other 3 bungalows were very acceptable so at this point all Is good. Staff are lovely and food was lots to choose from. I’m Gluten intolerant and they did try very hard to accommodate but the signs on the food says wheat but the chef says it’s ok it’s gluten free the sign means - so very confusing even the chips say no gluten but then he was trying to make me a special batch 🤔 if you ask in the morning they have a GF selection they can give you including home made pancakes that were amazing. Pools are fab and for families it’s been just what we needed so would come back … maybe the entertainment could be better.
