Mar y Sol Spa & Sport Hotel

Great hotel, 3 pools one is heated all.year round. Staff are so friendly and will do anything to help. Hotel is ideal for those with mobility issues, Very clean hotel, good food selection for breakfast and evening meal, good location for Los Cristianos bars and restaurants, would happily come back here again.

Absolutely love this hotel, checking out tomorrow after a week's stay. I'm a ambulatory wheelchair user with neurological conditions and all my needs were met. My electric wheelchair broke down twice here and the hotel was amazing providing a replacement whilst here. Only rude member of staff I encountered was the wheelchair engineer, I provided info on the feedback form about him we was in room 2306. There was a couple moaning about the hotel but we had no issues. Beds lovely night sleep ok them . Sunbeds too high but owner is looking at having different height ones available The cleaner done an amazing job everyday, aqua aerobics was more like stretching than aqua and it wasn't on everyday as advertised. 2 pools as third one being refurbished, cold and warm pools, gym available but have to ask for key at reception, WiFi available too but have to ask at reception for code. We made 7 lovely friends at this hotel we are staying in touch and coming back at the same time next year. This was my second trip ever abroad and I'm so thankful the mar y sol exists if your disabled don't hesitate, trust me it is completely accessible book it Thank you everyone at the hotel for your hard work, I did love completing the feedback form as well See you next July mar y sol, gracias

Worst hotel food not cooked right staff are very rude and hotel beds are a disgrace my girlfriend was walking by the pool and almost fell because they had left the floor solution on and no signs up we will never be returning

Hotel generally caters for people with disabilities. The staff were excellent with everyone and couldn't do more for people with a disability. I'm able bodied but was very impressed with the set up for wheel chair users and the vibe of the hotel . I was there for a week and loved every minute of it . Three pools with supports for disabled people and a hydrotherapy pool . Room was basic but clean and staff in every day changing and cleaning . I would 100% go back to that hotel

I spent one week here in February this year and wished I'd booked for longer. It's in an excellent and quiet location up just a slight hill from the promenade. Built primarily for people with disabilities and their families, it still caters for the able bodied. I was very happy that I'd booked it since I'd fallen and twisted my back a few weeks beforehand. Almost everything is on a level and, in the few places where there are steps, there are also ramps for wheelchairs. The staff, especially in Reception, were friendly and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. The heated outdoor pool was a definite bonus. We had some musical entertainment and I enjoyed the traditional musicians who played in the dining room one evening. My room was basic but clean with a lovely walk- in shower. It would have been helpful to have more drawers in the room, this is my usual complaint with hotels. I love drawers, you can chuck everything in them and walk out, leaving the room looking tidy. I booked half board and had no complaints about the food. I was always able to find something decent to eat, and I am a very fussy eater. I thought the breakfasts were especially good with a great variety on offer. In all, it was a very enjoyable week and, as soon as I got home, I booked for 10 days next March and I'm really looking forward to it. Thank you to all at Mar y Sol xxx
