Mediterranean Palace

Lovely hotel with an amazing swimming pool. Room was very modern and stylish & we had a great view from our balcony. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices. Had a couple of issues that the male at reception wasn’t very helpful with (buzzing noise in room & toilet constantly trickling. The male did say he would get maintenance up but nothing was fixed which was annoying when staying for 10 days. Not what is expected from a 5 star hotel which I believe this should actually be a very good 4 star. If the issues had been dealt with or even taken seriously by the man at reception then I might think differently on star rating. I would stay again with the hope that my room had no issues.

This was our first holiday as a 3. Our little princess who was 5 months was with us and the hotel and staff were amazing with her. To the waiting staff at meals speaking and interacting with her was just so amazing and will be memories we cherish forever! Thank you and the team! We had a fantastic stay at the Mediterranean Palace in Tenerife. The hotel is clean, modern and very well maintained, making it a really comfortable place to stay. The aircon in the main lobby could be slightly better as this was quite humid. The buffet was excellent, with plenty of choice at every meal, so there was always something to suit everyone. Bao Buns are a must, I have been to Vietnam/Japan/Thailand and these were just as good 🙃 We also loved the flexibility of being able to swap between lunch and dinner on the half-board option throughout our stay — a great touch and really useful when planning your days. There are 2 al a carte restaurants at the hotel l and these are excellent and i would recommend to be used. It was steange these were not busy, especially the steak grill as it was awesome! The steam tartare as a started was really good!! The pool area was great too, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Towels are provided and changed out at often as you want and done on a xard system. Ofcourse, there were the usual suspects reserving their sunbeds early in the morning with towels 😂, but unfortunately that's pretty standard at most resorts! A bit more responsibility from the hotel in making sure this did not happen would be great! Prices of drinks if not AI is a bit on the expensive side with it being almost as cheap to drink alcohol as it is to have a soft drink. The coffee machines at breakfast are free but the same coffee at all other meals is an expense. There are things that just dont make sense. There also seemsto be a difference in drink prices from the restaurant, bars and pool bars. This was quite strange and annoying. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily return. A clean, modern hotel with great food, a lovely pool area and some really thoughtful touches that made our holiday even better. Just a few minor points being really picky that could make this hotel great!!

Wouldn’t call this a 5 star hotel , changing sheets once a week and floors still dirty when cleaners been in. All they do is stock toilet rolls and clean towels. No water in room , people put towels on sunbeds. And don’t return till midday. Which leaves no spaces by pool. Food is cold and same stuff. Heard loads people moaning. Entertainment is rubbish. Sun don’t come out till midday as hotel blocks sun. Don’t hire mobility scooters unless scooter unless u have a disability badge as police try fine you £200. They don’t tell you this when you hire them. No reps in hotel. Can’t say I would come back here. Spoke to people on the golden mile and they had better service from 4 star hotels.

We really liked this hotel and it's a great location, Staff were friendly for the most part, some of the pool bar staff were a bit rude, we got food there once and it wasn't nice so we didn't eat there again but got drinks throughout the day! We didn't love the breakfast and ate out most mornings but I think that's just our personal preference. The pool area is great and there is NO sunbed wars, no matter what time we came down during the way we got 3 beds,our little boy love the splash area. also we loved that they give you towels and you can get fresh ones everyday, only thing I'd say about the pool is they could do with a bit more music or entertainment during the day we felt it lacked a small bit! We were on the 4th floor and didn't hear any noise at night bar one night when we were woken to screaming, I honestly didnt know what we were facing as the screams were horrendous. I was trying to call reception to see if we were safe in the hotel and couldn't get an answer until I went out to the balcony and shouted down to see what was happening I genuinely was waiting for our room door to be blown in turns out it was a fight in the hotel which obviously has nothing to do with the hotel but we were left terrified. Overall we were very happy with our stay and we would stay here again.

Myself, my husband and 3 children attended this hotel for 10 nights. When we arrived we were put in separate rooms on 2 totally different floors, even though we had booked a family connecting room, at first the lady at reception did not appear to be hopeful about this problem being solved which stressed us out more. Not wanting to spend our holiday separated, the next day we asked how we could be together and in the end had to pay an extra 270 euro to be put in a family connecting room that we had originally already paid for, even though we had to pay extra we were greeted with kids gift packs and a bottle of fizz on ice in the evening as an apology. The reviews about the noise are correct, we were on the first floor and the noise early hours in the morning and during the night does not stop, doors slamming and people walking past always. So every night was a late night and an early wake up. On one night my kids were absolutely traumatised due to drunken guests causing carnage, being in a room and hearing the unknown was beyond scary, elderly were scared to leave there room. Ending on a positive note the pool was amazing although a foam party or bigger entertainment for kids would have been even better. The Breakfast was amazing, you could not fault the breakfast or the pool. The rooms were cleaned every day but if you want your bedding changed regular you have to ask. My kids also loved the kids club, it was very very safe and secure with fabulous activities for them to get involved with. We come to this area every year and I don’t think we will be back to las Americas within 12 months it’s definitely gone down hill, streets aren’t looked after like it used to be, the streets aren’t clean and the crime rate has gone up.
