Parque Santiago IV

The location is perfect, right beside the beachfront promenade and the Golden Mile, so everything is within easy walking distance. We stayed in a Superior Studio in the tower overlooking the resort and it was fantastic. The room was spotless and cleaned every day, and it had everything we needed for a self-catering holiday. The beds and pillows were really comfortable, and there was a huge TV which allowed us to log into our own Netflix account — perfect for the evenings when we just wanted to relax. We had a ceiling fan rather than air conditioning, but we actually found it absolutely fine. The only thing worth mentioning is that the bathroom could get very warm. The pool area is lovely — really clean, with plenty of sunbeds and shaded areas. The pool is salt water, which didn’t bother us at all. There are the usual “sunbed wars” around 9am, but to be honest, we found it more amusing than annoying! A special mention has to go to the smoothies from the pool bar — they are absolutely amazing and were genuinely one of the highlights of the holiday for me! All of the staff we encountered were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, and there really wasn’t anything about our stay that disappointed us. In fact, we loved Parque Santiago IV so much that while we were still there, we started pricing up our holiday for June 2027. We had originally planned to go somewhere completely different next year, but we’ve changed our minds and will now be returning to Parque Santiago IV — and will be booking again very soon. That probably says it all. We can’t wait to come back!

We stayed at Parque Santiago 4 for 10 nights in September and overall really enjoyed it. The location is brilliant and we had a lovely sea view from our balcony. The balcony sun shade was great, especially for the evening sun and also helped when it was windy. The pool area was good too, and I really liked that there were umbrellas available for anyone who wanted shade. As a pale Irish girl, this was very important 😂. The room had a big TV with the option to log into your own streaming services, which was great for nights when we just wanted to chill. The full-length mirror was also huge, which I’d seen some reviews saying they didn’t have, so I think that probably depends on the room. There are a few things that could definitely be improved. There’s no air conditioning or freezer, although the fan was actually good enough for us. The bathroom gets very warm and is a little dated, and the shower lets quite a lot of water over the edge. Storage was also quite limited for two people staying 10 nights, with nowhere really to put the suitcases. The cleaning times were probably the most annoying thing. They were different every day and seemed completely unpredictable, so you never really knew when housekeeping was going to arrive. As it’s self-catering, I also found it annoying that we were only given tiny sachets of washing-up liquid and there were no scissors in the kitchen. There’s a handy gate onto the path along the water, but unfortunately this closes when the pool closes, so you can’t use it in the evening, which was a bit annoying as it would have been lovely to walk straight out onto the seafront at night. If staying in the tower, one thing to know is that the balcony lights stay on until around 1:18am 😂. The blackout curtains are very good though, so it didn’t bother us sleeping. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would come back. The location, sea view, balcony, pool and room were all great, and the negatives were more little annoyances than anything that ruined the holiday.

Currently staying there and have never encountered such inefficient methods of cleaning. Staying in 1021. They clean 1022 and 1020 in the morning and ours in the afternoon, despite the fact we especially asked for cleaning in the morning. We go out at 930 or10 in the hope that they might get it done,but no. Been to the lobby every day and nothing changes! From Iceland btw

This is probably one of the only times I have stayed somewhere and looked at prices to come back while still there. We visited as a family of 4 (12 and 3 year old) and we had room 1336 and the space is unreal. We were expecting 2 single bed for the kids but got a double soft bed but they both slept really well together for the first time so no complaints here. Everything you need in a self catering except an oven glove. We had to use the tea towel bit as there is no draining board we were using that the put our washing up on. So would be worth including that. I brought washing up liquid from home, they did provide a small sachet but I found this easier to have my own. Maid came every day and clean towels and bedding supplied. If you don’t like the bed ask for a mattress topper at reception. I slept fine on the bed but my boyfriend didn’t so requested a mattress topper and slept a lot better. It’s basically another mattress on top not what we consider a mattress topper so we were at different heights in bed. Pool bar food and drink was my downside to this hotel. I found it crazy expensive so we didn’t get anything from there anymore. Can on coke €4 when you’re own shop sells it for €1.05 is crazy. Ice creams I also found over priced. They do have their own supermarket at 4 and 5 but if you google there was a local supermarket about 15 min walk from the hotel and it’s about a third of what you’d pay at their own supermarkets so if you want to get more for you money it’s worth the walk. Restaurants go along the beach instead of the golden mile they are a lot cheaper. I honestly can not fault this hotel, the staff are amazing , clean and just want we needed. I Hope we can afford to come back next year!

we had previously stayed in Parque Santiago 3, last year and the previous year and loved it! However was busy with kids which we had no issue with but after staying at 4 we've realised how peaceful it is over 3. We really enjoyed our stay this year at 4 and would be back 100%. Very central location and Lovey staff whom we felt welcomed by from the start of our stay to the end. We were very lucky with our room and ended up with such a nice spacious room!. Can't wait to be back.
