Parque Santiago IV

Hotel cleaning good layout, need a little updating in parts Maids lovely. Most of the staff are helpful but there are a few staff in the breakfast area who are extremely rude we where made to feel intimidated, especially when we first arrived us not knowing how it worked, then being asked have we paid , we should have been asked what are room number was. Also my friend needed water for her medication I went down to fill a sml bottle in the breakfast area I was stopped straight away saying no you cannot have water!! We had paid £800 each for our holiday and to be refused water is shocking, hence the review now we won’t be going back, a complaint is on its way

Stayed in a 3 bedroom suite as a group of 6 friends. Had a gorgeous view of both the beach and pool. The suite was lovely and modern. Each room had its own air con controls. Had a brilliant stay here.

Have ti say the hotel is in a great location, staff are very friendly and the hotel itself is very clean. But in terms of the bed situation I would say it’s the worse bed I’ve ever slept on I am currently sleeping on the sofa in the hotel room as I am in pain with my back and neck every night over the beds and just can’t get comfortable to a point where I’ve had little or no sleep for this holiday, I am here 12 nights and I can’t wait to get out of here and to a decent bed, Beds are very hard and I personally find it extremely difficult to sleep in them and my boyfriend is the same. I don’t really have much other to say about the hotel in terms of badness, I would argue sleep on a holiday is quite important and I’m not getting much, I wouldn’t personally come back and stay here for this reason alone, I also wouldn’t recommend anybody to stay here unless your used to sleeping on a bad that’s rock hard. Other than that I think the hotels in a great location and I w Don’t have much other bad to say besides the bed situation.

We spent a few days at the hotel in late September and overall had a pleasant stay. The location is fantastic, with beautiful views, and both breakfast and dinner were genuinely delicious with a wide and high‑quality selection. These were definitely the highlights of our visit. However, for a four‑star hotel, there were several aspects that fell short. The bathroom amenities were surprisingly basic: no separate shampoo, no body lotion, no toiletries, and not even tissues. The hotel also doesn’t provide dedicated towels for the pools, which was inconvenient. Another issue was housekeeping. We kept the blackout curtains closed to prevent the room from heating up during the day, but the housekeeper repeatedly opened them, and we returned each evening to an uncomfortably hot room. On one occasion, the used bath mat was taken but not replaced. Parking was also a bit misleading. The “secure parking” is not on the hotel premises but located further away at the Parque Santiago III hotel. That said, we always found street parking nearby, though this may be easier in late September. Our room was on the 7th floor, and we often had cooking smells coming up from the chimney below, which was sometimes noisy as well. Communication with the staff was occasionally difficult — their English was heavily accented, and at times quite hard to understand, with little effort made to adjust pronunciation. Overall, the hotel has strong potential thanks to its location and food quality, but several service and comfort issues should be addressed to truly match a four‑star standard.

The location is perfect, right beside the beachfront promenade and the Golden Mile, so everything is within easy walking distance. We stayed in a Superior Studio in the tower overlooking the resort and it was fantastic. The room was spotless and cleaned every day, and it had everything we needed for a self-catering holiday. The beds and pillows were really comfortable, and there was a huge TV which allowed us to log into our own Netflix account — perfect for the evenings when we just wanted to relax. We had a ceiling fan rather than air conditioning, but we actually found it absolutely fine. The only thing worth mentioning is that the bathroom could get very warm. The pool area is lovely — really clean, with plenty of sunbeds and shaded areas. The pool is salt water, which didn’t bother us at all. There are the usual “sunbed wars” around 9am, but to be honest, we found it more amusing than annoying! A special mention has to go to the smoothies from the pool bar — they are absolutely amazing and were genuinely one of the highlights of the holiday for me! All of the staff we encountered were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, and there really wasn’t anything about our stay that disappointed us. In fact, we loved Parque Santiago IV so much that while we were still there, we started pricing up our holiday for June 2027. We had originally planned to go somewhere completely different next year, but we’ve changed our minds and will now be returning to Parque Santiago IV — and will be booking again very soon. That probably says it all. We can’t wait to come back!
