Parque Vacacional Eden

Nice to be out of town and in residential area with garden so is quieter but very steep hills to climb here. Site is also hilly from rooms to restaurant. Food in restaurant all tepid, yogurt and cereal milk not cold, breakfast and dinner all tepid or cold including eggs, meat, fish, chips. Juice very sugary. Not much variety in buffet restaursnt at dinner compared with all other hotels I've ever visited across world. Studio nice size with kitchenette and but back of sofa draped with sheet because the leatherette had all peeled off, really needs repairing as, very unpresentable. Spacious bathroom with walk in shower and twin basins. Only soap and shower wash provided, latter smels nice! Clean but some areas shabby, in need of money spent to improve. Reception staff not very friendly or welcoming. Smallish 5th floor pool quite nice, clean, refreshing. Didn't use big pool by padel courts or nudist pool. Several rooms in block above restaurant had balconies directly over and just feet from the restaurant terrace tables, not nice for occupants of rooms or diners. To be honest, the poorest hotel I've ever stayed in on a Tui, Jet2 or any other holiday. Not absolutely terrible but better provision and better value can be found elsewhere.

Food is so bad hardly no variety of food, bar man Spanish wouldn’t give his name he is short with black hair and short trousers and white socks with Jackson shoes. Very rude refused to serve when we paid for inclusive had attitude and also wouldn’t grab a bottle of gin downstairs as low staff.. I would never come back to this hotel again shocking.. don’t waste your money also no air con !!

So we’ve been here since late Sunday night at the Parque vaccionale Eden in Tenerife. It’s average despite the misleading trip advisor reviews. The site itself is quite nice & quirky but really badly laid out. You have to walk the restaurant to get to the pool which is awkward when they’re trying to clear up. There is NO AIR CON. WTF!!!! It’s a basic expectation isn’t it? Thank goodness I brought my portable fan it was real lifesaver whilst my family were sweating. The room is not great. Not very spacious or well kitted out. Poor facilities. We were greeted by a very musty smell upon entering your room, something akin to mould. We had to call down to reception to get them to open the patio window & maybe if they aired the rooms you wouldn’t get the smell. The maids attend to the rooms almost daily but I wouldn’t call it cleaning. The shower (once we’d figured it out how to turn it on ) wasn’t good. The drain clogs after about 5 mins of use which fills the tray right up, however I can’t be bothered to inform reception so shouldn’t really moan. If you want pool towels (another basic expectation of hotels worldwide I firmly believe) you have pay a €5 deposit per towel & if at any point you wish to have them cleaned you have pay €1 per towel. There is a safe in your room but guess what, it will cost you ,€25 deposit & €2 per day. The hotel itself needs a lot of updating throughout & every now & again you’d see a dead rat in the grounds but to be fair they cleaned them up quite quickly. We were B&B thank goodness as the food is average at best & the weird layout meant you have to walk through the restaurant to access the paddle courts & one of the pools. The pools themselves are not bad with plenty of sun loungers available so no race to claim them or reserving but only because the residents seem to disappear most day which is weird. I can only assume that because of the isolated location of the hotel & lack of beach in Puerto de la Cruz that people hire a car & bugger off for the day. The reception was very useful when we wanted to hire a car, they pretty much organised it for us & had it delivered to the hotel for a good price too. The hotel caters for a good mix of nationalities so there’s no favouritism which is nice.

Just back from here , I had a great time , alot of renovation work in the kitchen which I was directly above but it didn't really bother me , breakfast filled my needs , the staff are all very friendly and welcoming, if I had to say one bad thing I had to be out my room by 12pm in which I got picked up to airport around 6 apart from that my room was massive and I had a great time

Very disappointing experience – definitely not what we expected from an all-inclusive Parque Vacacional Eden Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing. The hotel was very dirty and the cleaning service was nowhere near the standard you would expect. When the cleaners came into the room, they did not properly clean the floors or sweep, and on several occasions they simply hung the same towels back up instead of replacing them. There was also no air conditioning, which made the room very uncomfortable, especially in the warm weather. The beds were extremely uncomfortable and felt like something from the army. My wife’s mattress was noticeably lower than mine, and neither of us slept well. The food was by far one of the worst parts of the experience. We were served raw meat and undercooked potatoes, and much of the food was served cold. This was supposed to be an all-inclusive hotel, so we expected a much better standard of food and service. The drinks situation was also very disappointing. Despite paying for all-inclusive, the only drinks included were water and one type of beer. If you wanted something like Coke or other soft drinks, you had to pay extra. In reality, almost all drinks came at an additional cost, which completely defeats the purpose of booking all-inclusive. Overall, this hotel was nowhere near the standard we expected. The cleanliness, food, beds, lack of air conditioning and very limited all-inclusive drinks made the whole experience extremely disappointing. We would not return and would not recommend this hotel.
