Honestly, it’s a lovely place, with some wonderful views of the sea and surrounding town. An in-house laundrette is a nice touch, and the cleaning staff are excellent. The rooms are cleaned and the beds made flawlessly every day. They’ll even come back later if you’ve not quite woken up yet! There are three pools (the one on the roof is for nudists, so we gave that one a miss), tennis and padel courts, and a nice-looking restaurant on-site. We didn’t eat there, though, as we were too preoccupied with trying out all the lovely places in Puerto de la Cruz! First big thing to bear in mind: the rooms don’t have air conditioning.* This wasn’t a big issue for us, as we stayed in early October and the weather was quite mild. I couldn’t imagine the horror of arriving here in mid-July, though. I do wonder how people cope in the peak heat; there aren’t even any ceiling or floor fans in the rooms. If you can tolerate a Canarian summer without so much as a fan, no problem (perhaps you should be studied for medical science?). For the rest of us, I’d advise staying here outside the hottest months, or not at all. I get that the north is cooler than the south, but you may have noticed that the world’s getting a tad hotter and older truths about the north being cooler than the south may not be so relevant as we continue to burn our way into the 21st century. There may be Spanish and French people reading this and scoffing at my British fragility. Circulez, s'il vous plaît! Second thing: the kitchenette. Our room had a little kitchenette, which I believe is a common feature of the rooms here. Lovely. I like to cook, and there’s something special about cooking abroad. I learned the hard way, though, that the smoke alarms in the rooms are rather sensitive, and not an appropriate type to fit in what is essentially a kitchen (smoke alarms rather than heat detectors). I set them off twice, having done nothing particularly aggressive to my chicken breasts. You see the problem here. If you’re a keen cook, resist the urge to sauté, or indeed generate any measurable amount of smoke or steam. Stick to Pot Noodles or beans on toast (are you still here, messieurs et mesdames?). The staff weren’t angry about the alarms, in all fairness, but it is nonetheless mortifying when the sirens go to DEFCON 1. The breakfast is decent, if a little strange. I can’t really comment on the selection, though, as it may be a perfectly normal assortment of breakfast foods for someone from another country. Parking was easy enough, although I get the impression that spaces might be hard to come by in peak season. We paid €6 per day, which I believe was a discounted rate for booking a week’s parking. The Wi-Fi is a tad patchy, too. I didn’t have any issues with it myself, but my partner frequently struggled to get a connection. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here. I personally wouldn’t stay again, but I wouldn’t dissuade anyone else from visiting, provided the lack of air conditioning doesn’t put them off. *At least, mine didn’t, on the seventh floor. I did a recon and couldn’t spot any AC units on the exterior of the building, so I’m wagering this is hotel-wide.

Rooms are spacious. No air conditioning. No bar of snack food juring the day .Are room had a view of a building site outside are balcony. Room next door to are room was used for hotel staff and was woken up by staff ever morning at 7.00 pm by laughter and noise form staff in next room .complaint to reception and no one approved us about this .There are two bars one that completely close on a Saturday night which you are then redirect to the other which charges you more for drink .Me and my wife will never come here again.

If you need air conditioning, a soft bed, a clean bathroom, then this hotel is not for you. It was my bad for not reading the amenities provided correctly before booking but having travelled extensively, I naturally assumed it would have air conditioning. The hotel is very dated and could be doing by being dragged into 2026! Our one breakfast, as we left for another hotel as we couldn’t bear the thought of another hot sleepless night.. was meh! How can you burn a fried egg? It’s definitely not 4 star.. budget at best. When we tried to claim for our unused nights via Love Holidays, the hotel lied saying we wanted to go to the south! They never asked us why we were leaving so they made a massive assumption. Avoid this nonsense and book a better hotel.

Nice to be out of town and in residential area with garden so is quieter but very steep hills to climb here. Site is also hilly from rooms to restaurant. Food in restaurant all tepid, yogurt and cereal milk not cold, breakfast and dinner all tepid or cold including eggs, meat, fish, chips. Juice very sugary. Not much variety in buffet restaursnt at dinner compared with all other hotels I've ever visited across world. Studio nice size with kitchenette and but back of sofa draped with sheet because the leatherette had all peeled off, really needs repairing as, very unpresentable. Spacious bathroom with walk in shower and twin basins. Only soap and shower wash provided, latter smels nice! Clean but some areas shabby, in need of money spent to improve. Reception staff not very friendly or welcoming. Smallish 5th floor pool quite nice, clean, refreshing. Didn't use big pool by padel courts or nudist pool. Several rooms in block above restaurant had balconies directly over and just feet from the restaurant terrace tables, not nice for occupants of rooms or diners. To be honest, the poorest hotel I've ever stayed in on a Tui, Jet2 or any other holiday. Not absolutely terrible but better provision and better value can be found elsewhere.
