⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A truly unforgettable family holiday ❤️ We have just returned from an amazing family holiday in Tenerife, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We travelled with two young children, and what made this holiday so special was how incredibly welcoming, kind and thoughtful everyone was towards our family. The food was great there was such a great variety, plenty of choice for the children and something for everyone. We enjoyed trying different things throughout our stay, and we were never left wondering what we were going to eat! The hotel was also brilliant for families. There was so much for our girls to enjoy, and the children’s pools and activities were fantastic. They were entertained, excited and happy throughout the holiday, which meant we could enjoy ourselves too. The little details for children really made a difference. One of the biggest highlight for us was without a doubt the Kids club staff. ❤️ A very special thank you to them. They were absolutely incredible with our girls. From the very beginning, they made them feel so comfortable, included and specia. Our girls absolutely adored you and were always so excited to see you. As a parent, there is nothing better than seeing your children genuinely happy and knowing they are surrounded by people who care about them. They went above and beyond, and we will never forget the kindness you showed them. The smiles, the jokes, the little surprises and the way you remembered the girls made such a difference. You didn’t just entertain them you created memories for them. ❤️ To Sarah, Carla, Boba, funny man, the Candy Mans, Marlena, Petra - ALL of the staff there at Kids Club you are all such beautiful people and an absolute credit to the hotel. We came to Tenerife looking for a lovely family holiday, but we are leaving with wonderful memories, happy children and a genuine appreciation for the amazing people who made our stay so special. Thank you to every member of staff who made us feel so welcome. Honest Review I’m honestly not really sure where to start with this review. We booked this hotel based on the online reviews. We were a family of three — two adults and our four-year-old — and were looking for a 5-star hotel with plenty to keep our little boy entertained throughout the day and evening. We’re not the kind of family who puts our child into kids’ clubs; he stays with us, so having plenty of activities and entertainment was really important to us. Arrival & Check-In When we first arrived at the hotel, we thought, “Wow!” The hotel looked amazing. It was bright, modern and incredibly clean — genuinely spotless. We arrived at around 11:30am and had to join a queue, which took approximately 45 minutes just to check in. It was extremely hot, and people were becoming restless, particularly families with young children. We were then told that our room wouldn’t be ready until 3pm, although we were allowed to use the hotel facilities. The problem was that there was nowhere suitable to get changed or unpack our suitcases to find our swimwear, meaning we had to use a toilet. After a long day of travelling, we ended up sitting around reception for almost four hours waiting for our room. I completely appreciate that rooms aren’t always ready immediately, but four hours felt excessive, especially when travelling with a young child who was tired and becoming increasingly restless. When we finally got to the reception desk to check in, we were greeted by what I can only describe as one of the rudest members of staff I have ever encountered. If you have stayed here — or are planning to — you’ll probably know exactly who I mean (the lady with the tattoos) Our Room We were allocated room 3516, overlooking the children’s pool and the castle. The room itself was spacious and absolutely spotless. The cleaners came in every day, replaced the towels and cleaned the floors, so we really couldn’t fault the housekeeping. A tip if you’re staying here: download the hotel app and book your shows in advance. Make sure you arrive early, especially if you have small children, as the seating isn’t particularly good if you end up towards the back of the stage. Italian Restaurant & Nut Allergy Incident We booked the Italian restaurant for one of our evenings. We had made it very clear at check-in that my husband has a nut allergy and that his food needed to be prepared accordingly. To our absolute horror, his starter arrived containing nuts. When we immediately raised this with the waiter, we were told that pistachios weren’t nuts. This was extremely concerning and could potentially have been very dangerous for my husband. We therefore decided not to take any chances and skipped the starters. We waited for our main courses to arrive. Our little one enjoyed making his own pizza, but unfortunately my pizza arrived covered in hairs. And when I say covered, there were numerous hairs throughout it. The pizza was sent back, but by the time the replacement arrived, everyone else at our table had already finished eating. Unfortunately, the second pizza was no better than the first and also contained hairs. We raised the issue with the food and beverage manager, particularly because of how unacceptable the experience had been. What made matters worse was that the waiter appeared to laugh about our experience, which we found incredibly disrespectful. Food Unfortunately, the food throughout our week was one of the biggest disappointments. Everything seemed to lack flavour and, in our opinion, was very poor for a hotel advertised as 5-star. There were flies around the food, with very little appearing to be in place to prevent this. We also saw mouldy fruit in the bowls, and the ice cream was so melted that it was practically liquid. The restaurant itself often felt like a cattle market. The atmosphere was chaotic, and some of the waiters seemed rude or as though they simply didn’t want to be there. If you have food allergies, I would strongly recommend being extremely cautious. We spoke to several other families who also had allergies, and some told us they had chosen to eat outside the hotel because they didn’t feel confident that their dietary requirements were being handled safely. We also witnessed customers handling food without using the utensils provided, which was honestly shocking to see. Sunbeds Sunbed reserving starts at around 5:30am, which in my opinion simply shouldn’t be allowed. There were families struggling to find somewhere to sit while rows of sunbeds had towels placed on them from early morning, with nobody actually using them for hours. Personally, I feel that if a sunbed isn’t being used for a reasonable period of time, the towel should be removed so that other paying guests can use it. Entertainment & Atmosphere The entertainment is full-on. There are around six pools, with different music, activities and games happening around them. If you’re looking for a peaceful hour relaxing around the pool, forget it. There was also a foam party in one of the smaller pools during our stay. It was absolute carnage. There were so many young children in the area, and at times it felt like children were being knocked into and trampled over. We were genuinely shocked that there didn’t seem to be more control over the situation. Another thing we found quite bizarre was the hotel handing out FREE T-shirts — and I’ll emphasise the word free — but you had to leave a positive review to receive one and then show the staff the review. Honestly, we found this laughable. It also made us question how many of the overwhelmingly positive reviews online are genuine experiences and how many may have been influenced by this kind of incentive. Speaking to Management We did eventually have a meeting with the hotel manager to express our concerns, particularly regarding the nut allergy incident. Unfortunately, the resolution offered was to give us a nicer sunbed for the day. After everything we had experienced, this honestly felt rather laughable and completely failed to address the seriousness of our concerns. Would We Return? If you’re looking for a lively, extremely busy family resort with constant entertainment, loud music and plenty going on, then perhaps this hotel will suit you. However, if you’re looking for a relaxing holiday, this definitely isn’t the place for you. The music is incredibly loud, playing from early morning until late at night,there are children running and screaming everywhere, the pool tiles are extremely slippery and we witnessed several people falling over. For us, the combination of the poor food, allergy concerns, hygiene issues, rude staff, sunbed situation and constant noise completely ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing family holiday. We went expecting a 5-star experience and unfortunately left feeling extremely disappointed. Would we return? Absolutely not.

Our Master Family Suite was perfect and maintained extremely well by housekeeping. All public areas were also maintained to an excellent standard. And that's where any good rating ends. When we arrived we found oursleves behind 5 familes who were waiting to check-in. We had completed the requested advanced check in on line but still had to wait for over an hour before we had completed check-in and told that the room was not ready. We were told that we would get a 'phone call when our room was ready but received none. When we asked again about our room at 15.15, we were informed our room was ready, but we had to ask for directions and received no general information about the facilities, e.g. opening times for restaurants. There was no assistance available to take our cases to our room. Re the app - when we were given access to the app, 10 days before arrival, we found that the majority of the shows and a la catre restaurants were full booked. We could not access the preferred Italian restaurant, the asian restaurant and were resigned to one evening in the steak house. The food and service were in line with a Weatherspoons. The app also provided limited detailed information regarding the kid's cub activities. Kid's club - generally very good but we were angry that they spoke with the children on numerous occasions one day about attending the face painting which didn't start until 20.15. As responsible Grandparents we were trying to keep to our 5 year old to the 'holiday' hours laid down by her parents - bedtime between 20.00 and 20.30. We stood in yet another queue for an hour - we had to remove the paint 10 minutes later and ended up with an overtired child for the next 24 hours. Although the hotel is aimed at familes and child safety is very evident, the swimming pools were so deep that children could not stand on the bottom. At least one should be at level where young children can swim and stand up without assistance. Poolside loungers were frequently 'reserved' by guests before sunrise - some seen at the poolsides in their pyjamas!! We were informed by a member of staff that lounger reservation of this nature is not allowed - mmmmm. The worst aspect of this hotel is the food and drink. The buffet has serious food hygiene issues. Temperature control is non existent e.g. luke warm chicken and melted ice cream. No temperature checks were being made. The pizza bar was next to the glluten free area. No allergen information on the food labels. Children's drinks loaded with sugar. Our 5 year old was seriously ill after eating meat from the charcuterie - charcuterie is one of her favourites back home but now, will not eat it. (Housekeeping did an excellent job of cleaning the bed and suite in the morning). If you want to lose weight, this is just the right place for you.

Back from 7 night stay. I was really apprehensive after reading some reviews. I didn't need to be. Check in was really easy (download the app before you go) Room was beautiful, only downfall was how open the bathroom was but it was just me and my two girls so it wasn't that much of a problem. 99% of the staff were absolutely lovely. Steakhouse was absolutely amazing, definitely recommend. Italian was ok but a 40 mins wait for main course and it wasn't full. Buffet was absolutely fine I don't know why some are complaining. The only downfall we found was evening entertainment. The shows were amazing but you only got two and I wasn't paying €60 to watch the others. They have music on the terrace or in the sports bar they have karaoke or a quiz but that was only for 45mins. The hotel was very clean. We will definitely be returning and my kids want to do longer than a week next time.

Located only 15 mins by coach from the airport this is an exceptionally brilliant hotel and resort. Rooms and the entire public areas are exceptionally maintained regularly for cleanliness especially the toilets and pool areas. The rooms are spacious and kept very clean. The complex is full of entertainment for both adults and children especially around and in the several pools on site. Evening shows and music in bars is excellent. Excellent service from all staff throughout the complex and happy all the time. Just what is needed on holiday for children and adults. Very good choice of food in the buffet bars for breakfast - lunch and evening meals. I have only 2 negative comments. 1.Check in process is fairly lengthy and when we arrived at the hotel only 1 person was dealing with all the newly arrived guests. As checking in each family took a very long time there was a queue of holiday makers checking in behind us and it was frustrating waiting especially with very young children. Otherwise reception staff were very kind and helpful. FOR ARRIVALS THIS FIRST CLASS HOTEL WAS LET DOWN BY THIS PROCESS ONLY. 2. Drinks in the Lounge Bar. After our first day it was very noticeable how little spirits were put into the cocktails. The Rum in our Pina Coladas was an example. A glass full of crushed ice had the components poured in but little rum - presumably staff have to do this as a cost saving for the hotel. Everything else about the hotel was perfect.
