Best Jacaranda

The reviews we saw made us a little apprehensive to book. However, we had such a great time here. We managed to book a 6 night stay a week before the October half term, so was definitely quieter week and saw it become busier from our last few days. We had no issues getting a sun bed, as there are so many swimming pools on various levels of the hotel. There were always lifeguards near the main pools. The splash pool had a heavier presence of lifeguards, and it was really good to see that the staff were strict on the amount of children allowed up to the higher water slides. The animation team were absolutely fantastic. They worked incredibly hard and built a great rapport with our children, remembering names etc. My kids went to the kids club during the day in between to warm up, and they always had different activities to keep them occupied and entertained. The evening disco was enjoyable for the kids, and the evening entertainment was different each night. The room we booked was as seen in the advertised photo on Jet2, which doesn’t always happen. The beds were comfy and the mattresses looked new. They could have provided a duvet, as they only had two sheets on each bed. The room we had was a little dated, but was cleaned well and no bugs of any description seen. We were allowed to book one breakfast and one dinner at the Brasserie restaurant with our all inclusive package. There were plenty of available slots, and the food was absolutely incredible, cooked to a really good standard. The main restaurant had very similar food each day, and we were bored of the food by our fourth day. However, my daughter has a milk allergy, and the chef was very good, but incredibly limited choices with no real variety with the themed meals for that day. The staff who took the allergy order each day were very attentive and always friendly. The only real feedback would be that there are broken tiles and areas that could be fixed or renovated, and could easily make this head towards a 5 star rating. We would definitely book again (possibly not all inclusive). Lastly, it is very close to the beach, only a 7 minute walk. We didn’t do many excursions this time, but lots to do nearby with the family.

Have had the best time here. Reviews i saw worried me, but honestly I think people must just be snobs! Hotel is lovely. Its so big, there's always somewhere new to sit, never had trouble getting sunbeds together (and we were a group of 10!) Food was good. Always something for everyone. Room was cleaned every day. Good selection of drinks on AI. Plus the cocktails were only a few euros extra. All the animation team were so lovely and friendly and funny. We got involved in lots of the activities. Restaurant staff all really friendly too. In fact all staff were nice except one receptionist who clearly doesnt enjoy her job. Also a cleaner left our door unlocked on one of our days but im not gonna mark the whole place down for that. All in all, a great family hotel. In a really lush location.

Excellent location, short walk to shops, restaurants, beach and seafront. Atmosphere is great by the pool, music on, kids and adults activities really fun. Restaurant is good, always something plain if that's what you like, but plenty of choice, well cooked meats, loads of salad options. Themed night each night for example Italian, gala, and Spanish. Definitely recommend this for a fun family holiday!
