Botanico & The Oriental Spa Garden

This hotel features a large, magnificent garden and an impressive spa complex—accessible at no extra cost—comprising an outdoor area with a large heated pool, a spacious Jacuzzi with loungers, and a standard Jacuzzi, as well as an indoor area with a small heated pool, a medium-sized Jacuzzi, and three or four different hammam and sauna areas. It is a paradise for those seeking total relaxation! Breakfast is excellent, and the rooms and beds are comfortable. We highly recommend visiting the impressive botanical garden located just 200 meters from the hotel. Free, secure private parking is available on-site. Absolutely nothing; everything was perfect! The breathtaking breakfast served beside the large aviary where hundreds of multicolored birds frolic; the excellent dinner at La Parrilla, featuring an intimate atmosphere, attentive service, and a feast of flavors; the splendid gardens filled with citrus trees, banana plants, and black swans; and the well-maintained spa offering a multitude of sensory experiences... It was perfect—thank you. We will be back.

We booked the hotel directly with their reservation department. We gave them full information and were promised an email within 5 minutes. This never arrived so made a further phone call with the full procedure again. Again an email was promised and again this did not arrive. On arrival at the hotel they had our name and booking with no information so again we gave details. The hotel was not in any way full, and we had no problem getting a late booking. The room was excellent with great views of Teide, the swimming pool, and the gardens. The balcony was comfortable. The pool was fine in the garden but beware of slippy steps in! However, we particularly enjoyed the spa pool and meditation area. Breakfast was good with a great selection of hot and cold food, and fresh fruit. Lunch was served by the pool and was excellent on the one day we used it. There was a choice of three restaurants for dinner and as we were there for three nights we went to a different one each night. The food was very disappointing in both the Spanish and Italian restaurants and although the Chinese restaurant was a slight improvement it still disappointed. We should have been alerted by how few people were dining in each on them on any of the three nights. While we would recommend the hotel, we would say go “bed and breakfast” and go to nearby Puerto for dinner!

We have just spent a fantastic 4-nights stay at Hotel Bótanico and everything was just perfect! The hotel is beautiful, with a stunning tropical garden that is kept immaculate, a wonderful pool area and excellent food throughout our stay. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming and the whole staff was super well trained, kind and professional. I would especially like to give a shout out to Omar, who helped us with parking our car, carrying our baggage and showing us all the room services. He was, without a doubt, the standout member of staff we met during our holiday. Every time we saw him, he greeted us with a smile, he was always friendly, professional and approachable. He clearly takes great pride in his job and goes above and beyond to make guests feel looked after. Overall, a wonderful stay!

The most outstanding hotel in Tenerife. We have visited this hotel for a number of years and always have a fantastic time. The staff are very welcoming and always go above and beyond to meet our needs. They have great recommendations of local places to eat and visit. The spa is out of this world! We love our visits to the quiet pool and relaxing in a calm, peaceful atmosphere. The kids club is great and the staff in there make the children feel welcome and engaged.
