Mediterranean Palace

Check-in experience was poor, I had to wait and then chase my room on arrival, staff were not very helpful sorting this issue on the day. Room we got in the end, 5014 did have some smell inside and wifi box was constantly flashing, disturbing sleep for my wife. Food during breakfast is ok, but mostly cold. Eating area was very messing with people constantly walking all directions, so probably would need reorganising by hotel. Pool area very busy, get your sunbed very early or never. Animation very poor for 5* hotel, no music in the pool area. Stayed here second time, but in my opinion hotel went backwards since last visit. On the other hand, hotel location itself is very good if you want to spend time in the beach around, has free parking and plenty decent restaurant closely by.

We stayed here many times prior to the refurbishment, and this was first time since it finished. The new style rooms have a modern stylish feel, and its great they kept the tropical feel of the atrium during the update. As per all the other reviews, location is perfect for the beach, golden mile and wandering into los cristianos or towards Costa Adeje. We only went b&b due to number of excellent restaurants close by, but breakfast had a wide range of hot and cold food. Some choices might seem a little random for breakfast but for me that just added to the enjoyment! Staff though remain the hotels best point.. all super friendly, helpful and work so hard. Particular shout out to the pool chaps at the Cleopatra Pool. Only two minor niggles. They could really do with an extra pair of hands behind the cleopatra pool bar (Ivan works like a trooper to keep up but way too busy for one person!). Also the new breakfast layout looks so much nicer than it used to but, with only one location for each item it does get a bit crazy round the counters, and this is in the quiet season.. Overall though.. it's great to be back at this hotel after trying others the last few years and we will be back next year I'm sure.

This is a nice hotel, with great food and comfortable beds. We found the in-room air conditioning works well. Parking is free and we had no problems finding a space each day. The pool was busy but there were plenty of sun lounges, always found space when we wanted them. On the not so good side we found it very noisy, music by the pool was loud. Evening entertainment was loud too. I don’t think the curved shape of the hotel helped. Disappointed they charge for access to the gym if you’re half board. Overall we had good stay but the noise would put us off staying there again.

Great location but the reception is awful it’s like a phone shop people working away on their computers totally unwelcoming we felt like we were bothering the staff !! this hotel is definitely NOT a five star we have stopped at lots of 5 stars all over the world and this would be pushing to hit a 3 star We paid over £3000 for a week all inclusive but it isn’t all inclusive you have to pay for the food at the pool bar so it’s not all inclusive at all and the main food hall is pitifully small for a hotel of this size as for the food I’m not a fussy person but the food was awful and cold for example at a 5 star you would expect omelettes to be freshly made on request and you could see that food had been recycled from the previous day we ate a couple of times at the hotel then decided it was so awful we would just eat out also the staff in the restaurant didn’t seem to want to interact with us they seemed to busy chatting amongst themselves The room was ok basic no shaving mirror and the mini bar wasn’t stocked which normally is when staying at a 5 star The only saving grace for this place is the cleaning staff were great 😌 don’t waste your money

Perfect location. Very clean and staff friendly. Food good( we went half board). Would go back and I have never said that before.
