We have just returned from an incredible stay at TUI BLUE Atlantic Hills, our first TUI adults only holiday. A beautiful location; whilst the walk up and down the hills into town is quite a trek, we really loved the fact that the location was away from the noise as it's so beautiful and peaceful. What can we say about this hotel - it's amazing. First, it's modern and clean, the refurbishment of the last few years still looking nice (I hope it continues to be invested in and maintained to make sure this continues!) and the grounds are beautiful. The whole place is spotlessly clean. The food is lovely with a good choice in the buffet restaurant at breakfast and dinner, though they tend to stop refilling dishes early which is a frustration so don't leave it too late. The Cullinarium is incredible! But it is the staff that really sets this hotel apart and elevates the experience - the manager is superb, she is so friendly and helpful, and clearly runs an incredible hotel. Jorge in the Cullinarium is simply superb, as is Jessica and Juan Pablo (I think his name is?) in the bars; incredible cocktails made! And all of the staff really, including the superbly helpful reception staff. The hotel and staff made a big celebration we had really memorable and enjoyable. There are some improvements that could be made which I would happily share with management directly, the main ones though being: there is seriously a big lack of parasols/ umbrellas around the pool, with one side lacking any, and this led to another guest being warned by staff as they fetched one from the bar area and moved it over - please, invest in some more, so that each pair of beds has one! The pool also closes far too early - 6pm is too early, 7pm would be better or even 6:30pm given this is when the restaurant opens. I do think timings are too early - we are not early eaters! The evening entertainment was incredible and relaxed, which is much more preferable to other hotels and fits the vibe perfectly, but it does finish rather early, meaning a trip into town is needed - would be nice if, even on the odd evening, it went on until 11pm. However, the place is just magical - we cannot wait to return! Until next time! Thank you Atlantic Hills! X

We had such a lovely week at TUI BLUE Atlantic Hills and would definitely recommend it! Firstly, a special mention has to go to Fran, Jessica, Jaime and Jorge. They were absolutely amazing throughout our stay. Always so friendly, welcoming and attentive and they really made our stay that little bit more special. One morning at breakfast I asked if they had any tumaca and the next morning they had made some especially for me and continued to make it for me for the rest of our stay! Such a small thing but it was so thoughtful and really showed how attentive the staff were. Our room was gorgeous and we had the most amazing view of the sea. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better view. The food was amazing with plenty of variety every day and we especially loved the fine dining evening. The pool area was lovely with plenty of sunbeds and we especially loved the infinity pool and the hot tubs. Such a nice place to relax and enjoy the sea views. Overall, we had such a lovely and relaxing week. The hotel, food, views and facilities were all amazing but the staff really made our stay. We would definitely recommend TUI BLUE Atlantic Hills!

After a long 4.30hr flight and transfers, we where greeted by hotel manager Marika who was fantastic. She awaited our arrival even at 10pm. We where efficiently booked in and shown to our rooms. As a late arrival, the hotel had put out cold plates of food, which covered salad, cheeses and bread and butter for any late arrivals which was a nice touch. We arrived at peak heat season, and being up mountains we where subjected to the best weather, albeit we didn't get the luxury of sunsets, the view across the Mediterranean was incredible. Took us 3 days to figure we needed to book any excursions via the BLUE app, but we already had plans prior so it wasn't an issue. Reception staff where helpful to tell us where the nearest amenity's where, and local places to visit aside from the excursions. I was treated to a spa treatment, and it was amazing well worth the money for the hour, albeit spa access wasn't included in the £80. But offers for the full week of spa access for £50 isn't bad either. Within the hotel package we where given one night inside the cullinarium, which is the fine dining restaurant within the hotel. The food was superb and cooked to your liking, however a small menu, but the flavour profiles where amazing. Beef tenderloin is a must! The mess hall for the evening restaurant was busy, but staff where always on hand and pleasant. Only thing that let it down, was the rather rude guests that didn't speak and rarely got out of anyone's way. Evening where always enjoyable within the hotel as live music is performed each night by live artists. Myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We where gutted because we arrived on the end of a set of a fantastic sax player that we didn't get to see as he performed on the days we came and left (Thursday). Gorge the maître d, and Juan need special recognition as they where phenomenal, and took time out of their busy service to chat and make sure we where looked after! Juan makes mean cocktails, and myself who rarely drinks, the mojito, and the Long island ice tea where a favourite. Locale was hit and miss, albeit you could walk into Playa Jardin, it was downhill and i suffer with severe vertigo, so taxi's where the nature of getting in. Cost was between £5-£9 which varied wildly for some reason even if they took the same route. The harbour was where the main attractions where and with the weather being in the high 33c it was BUSY but the hustle and bustle was good fun! The hotels standards are fantastic, and staff are second to none to helping, even classes to help learn the language! (via the app) I would mention as a brit, there wasn't many at all English within the hotel to speak too, not that we noticed, 1/20 people may have been English to speak too, so just bare this in mind. If your looking for lots of English speaking, south of the island is probably best.
