Centro Vacanze Pra delle Torri

Reception was busy but moved quickly. The lady that dealt with us wasn’t particularly friendly when we had difficulties with our booking reference not working on the machines. The caravan was a bit smaller than expected and our parking space was taken so had to block someone in for a few days, but the outside space was great. Bathroom door didn’t close, the bathroom was a bit dusty in places and the shower was either volcanic or Baltic in temperature which was hard work when trying to shower my 7 year old. Also, could do with some hooks to put your towels on rather than having to place towels on the loo. Great swimming pool area and the food and drink were great and reasonably priced. Staff at the bars/restaurants really friendly. Supermarket was well stocked but big queues in the morning for the bakery and people literally ran to the bakery counter when the doors opened!?! Train to Caorle was fab and really friendly driver. Nighttime entertainment felt cheap. The gym was falling apart (machines literally falling apart when using them). Seriously needs an upgrade and more floor space. A shame as it was packed each time I used it. Finally, we felt the park was overcrowded, way too many people and vehicles/ tents packed in to one space. Also, having to pay extra for bed linen and towels plus sun-beds was too much. We travelled as a group of 20 and the other families also had issues with ants in their caravans and mix ups at check in, being told they were in one part of the park, then the other having to lug bags back and forth so not very impressed either unfortunately. It was our first time at a Eurocamp and we all questioned whether we weren’t impressed because we’re used to something different but having reviewed the whole experience we we all decided it was very overpriced, that we could get better value elsewhere and realistically more like 3*. We wouldn’t do a Eurocamp again.

We have been coming to this campsite for seven years, and everything has always been great. We stayed for two months last year and did the same this year, but unfortunately, things ended very badly this time due to the very unpleasant—even humiliating—treatment we received from the cashier. For four days prior to our planned departure, campsite staff were sent to us repeatedly (three times a day) to remind us to pay for our stay. We told them we would pay and specified the date we intended to do so, yet the staff kept pestering us, saying the cashier had sent them. We felt like criminals. When we went to pay today, we asked why we had been treated that way and received several explanations: 1) Since we are from another country, we supposedly had to pay sooner because the funds might not reach the campsite's account. 2) There was a concern that my card might have a limit preventing me from paying the full amount. This seemed highly inappropriate; what business was it of the cashier's to know about my card's personal limits? 3) We were told that a deposit is required because we are from another country. The attitude we encountered was deeply humiliating and demeaning. If there are different payment rules for foreigners, we should have been informed about them at the start.

The site is the biggest we have ever stayed at so your enjoyment will depend on if that’s what you like. You are given a wrist band on arrival which has a huge card on it to get to the beach, it would have been better to just have a card rather than have it to wear that all the time as you don’t need it for anything else. The pool area is huge with lots of different pools and the slide area is really good however they could do with some kind of seating for parents supervising their children as the queues for slides with inflatables are very long. You can take inflatables and balls in the main pool which is good. There is a process of paying for sun beds before you arrive which I actually really liked as didn’t have to dash to get one each morning however when I went to book at end of may nearly all had gone, it would be helpful if an email was sent out to let you know when the booking opens. We ate in the sports bar twice and the food was of good quality. Didn’t really use the beach but wasn’t the most picturesque that I’ve seen. There is a small lunar park which is good for kids. What let the site down for us was the Eurocamp accommodation. We have used Eurocamp in France and Italy previously and the caravan has never been so small, with 5 people we really struggled. The outside lounge area was good but no screen for privacy and they really pack them in. The air con was good too but the shower was freezing cold so we showered in the camping part instead, lovely warm spacious showers but we shouldn’t have to that after paying so much for the caravan. There is no toaster which is awkward when our caravan didn’t have an oven either (despite many other caravans on our row having one). We found there was a mix of nationalities, lot of Germans, Dutch and Italians but also a fair few people from the UK, everyone was friendly so good atmosphere. The Eurocamp staff were also friendly and helped with directions to Venice (over an hour in the car from the site plus the 35 mins on the ferry so quite long and possibly not worth it) and Caorle which is a beautiful lively little town so well worth a visit. Overall we had a good time, my 9 year old daughter thought it was great, we don’t usually go back to the same place but if we did I would use a different operator whose accommodation was bigger and better equipped.

Pra Delle Torri is located only 50 mins on direct bus to the campsite. It is a relaxed spacious campsite & has a good atmosphere without it seeking over crowded due to the well spaced out shops & amenities. It has both water park & beach close to all areas of accommodation. The mobile we had was modern & clean & well located. The restaurants were very good & well priced. The only thing that did disappoint is there were no real scheduled activities for kids no archery or football etc which other campsites have through an app. There are pitches /sporting area but no one seemed to use. Def can recommend this campsite as clean pleasant & well run

I have been here 6 times in the last 7 years. incredible. I loved every second. The staff were so kind and the entertainment was absolutely spot on. No rubbish literally anywhere. Shout out to mr entertainment himself and the other staff. Loved it, loved it, loved it. Go! Instantly! You can’t miss out!
