Hotel Christian in Jesolo was one of the worst places I’ve ever stayed. The photos online are totally misleading. Sure, the rooms might look okay in the pictures, but they conveniently leave out the bathrooms, which are old, dirty and in awful condition. It honestly felt like they hadn’t been properly cleaned or renovated in years. Reception? Basically non-existent. Every time we needed something, we had to wait at least five minutes for someone to show up. And when someone finally did (some kind of manager, not a proper receptionist) he was rude, unhelpful and just plain unpleasant to deal with. We asked about a lost charger, and instead of helping us, he started raising his voice, asking why we had lost it, like it was our fault. No understanding, no solution, just attitude. And the worst part? A thief literally entered rooms at night. All the terraces on the first floor are connected by a tiny fence anyone can jump. Someone got in through one of them and went from room to room stealing things while people were sleeping. And the hotel takes zero responsibility . Unless your stuff was in the safe, you’re on your own. Honestly, this place is a joke. It’s unsafe, the staff don’t care, and the whole experience was awful. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

I have recently checked out of this hotel and I was very disappointed with the state the hotel was in compared to the photos and descriptions given. Check in was simple and staff pleasant. Location was great by a lovely beach and some lovely restaurants near by and useful with the bus stop right outside the hotel to go into lido di Jesolo whereby you could travel further to Venice,airport, Punta Sabbioni etc. The room itself I found very small even for a solo traveller, there was a tv however due to its placement and the small room was unable to be used, the room felt very unclean and very dusty and dirty under the bed. Wardrobe was decent size for solo traveller. In description was stated a mini bar however this was not present, balcony was with two plastic chairs however birds taken over very noisy through the day and morning especially by making babies!! The walls are very thin and you can hear every footstep, every toilet use and every open and closing of doors. The hotel is suppose to have a restaurant/pizzeria and bar located by reception however this was closed throughout the entire stay gave me the impression of abandoned and not been open for a while and therefor could not have a drink at the hotel. The pool itself nicest area of the hotel. However advertised and sign to suggest bar service however not available due to no bar at the hotel.

The reception staff here are the kindest and most helpful people. Had an issue with our transfer and they were very helpful and went above and beyond. Lovely place to stay, hopefully the pizza restaurant will open one day and would love to come back. Thank you Hotel Christian, we had a wonderful time.

It’s a nice hotel close to beach, bars and restaurants. Rooms are small. We went with upgraded one but still pretty small. Did we need more? Probably not since you enjoy the outdoors and beach. Roof top pool is nice but nothing special. The biggest problem was parking! You will have to look for it for hours at least to park close to hotel.

An honest review ; More like a hostel than a hotel. Cheap but not cheerful at all. We paid around £40 a night so it was low cost but still a waste of money and a holiday. Wish we’d paid more and stayed elsewhere. Most facilities closed ; pool, restaurant, roof terrace. The bar was ‘open’ but you couldn’t actually sit in the bar only on the outside terrace which was too cold or in a very dated looking inside room with no windows, just really unwelcoming. Coach loads of teens arrived every night at around 7pm and ran around the hotel, corridors and shouted off the balconies until 10.30pm (must have been their curfew). Woken up every morning at 6,30-7am by teens dragging their suitcases down the stairs !! The area is pretty much closed down for winter, we only found 3/4 bars and restaurants open to eat in. There were no loungers or chairs on the beach either as these are not put out until late may/June. The hotel said this is out of their control by why advertise facilities that are not there? Staff are lovely and really try to be helpful but the hotel is tired and a throw back to the 1970s. Tv is tiny and so high up on the wall it was hard to see it ! Not that we want to watch much TV but as the weather was so bad it would have passed some time. Breakfast was the same 4 cold items. One plate of bread rolls, one of plain croissants, one sliced cheese and one sliced ham. There was a hot drinks machine and orange juice (watered down mix in a machine). We were offered yoghurts too. Odd bits of jam portions and biscuits but nothing changed each day and nothing hot. The most basic breakfast we’d ever had and didn’t bother going down after day 3. Shower is honestly so small I could barely fit through the doors (womens UK size 16-18). It was a squeeze once in too to turn around or wash your hair. The shower was rusty and just old looking. Plenty of hot water though ! Towels were a good size and replaced daily. Balcony with 2 plastic chairs dated and rusty. Beds are like sleeping on rock , staff did try to help by giving us squares of foam to place under the sheet but made little difference. There is only one socket in the room which is in the bathroom if you unplug the hairdryer. Holiday was just awful. They offered a free week in Sept but we wouldn’t return even for free.
