Our family of 9 visited Hotel Bembo, and indeed Italy for the first time. From a huge variety of wonderfully presented and tasty food served, to the great work of the cleaning team in maintaining the cleanliness of our room, to the smiley and friendly daily welcome from Bembo staff, we were absolutely delighted with our stay and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone! Bellissimo!! Also, special shout outs to our waiter Davide, who was always so polite, diligent and welcoming - he made our stay extra special with his warm and gentle personality. And, Stefano who always accommodated our needs, particularly our children who can be fussy eaters! Thank you so much everyone at Bembo - we will visit again!

Great holiday as a party of 9 from England. Hotel location was perfect being 100 metres from the beach and 100 metres from the town centre. We upgraded to half board which was worth every pennny. We had room 105 which was a pool view and a little view of the sea. Worth asking for rooms 104 to 107 which all overlook the pool area. Room was ok but needed a little updating but didn’t affect our holiday in the slightest. Waiting staff in the dining room were very pleasant polite and helpful. Sunbeds on the beach allocated to you on arrival and are yours for your stay with a locked safe built into the parasol for phones etc. beach is busy and is very long which is nice to walk along. Free bike hire from the hotel to cycle along the prom which is good fun. All in all a great resort close to everything.

Not 4* perhaps not even 3*! I'll say first that we are here now. We booked this hotel based on the reviews here on trip advisor. They all sounded positive. We arrived around 3hrs post the check in time, so plenty of time for the room to be in order. The room was small and drab but the air con worked brilliantly. The "balcony" is the size of a postage stamp but not really a problem as we use it only to dry off beach stuff. Although if the drying rail is extended you can't get out on the balcony anyway! The main problem we found, is he room is East facing and nothing dries anyway! Oh, and there's no laundry service! We noticed the room fridge was warm but thought it would cool down eventually. We went off to explore the beach and surroundings and, on return found the fridge still warm.....but the shower COLD! On the way into dinner we politely informed reception of the broken fridge only to be told that ir must be our fault for putting stuff in there!! "Stuff" was a couple of cans of diet coke from the car! I couldn't believe my ears! The receptionist came up to the room to check if the fridge was, infact, broken. And when, verifying, it was. Informed us that maintenance would fix it and the hot water, the next day! The following day, still no working fridge but at least hot water. I went once again to Reception. I had to explain all over again about the fridge ....again I was accused of breaking it!! Did I put too much in there?, did I check the light was on?did I di this or that. Even though the lady, who had checked the night before was there, she said nothing! Once again she was sent up to our room (204 avoid it) and confirmed the mimi fridge did NOT function! On our return from the beach, no apology offered, we had another working fridge! The worst of this place is not facilities that are non existant, or broken but the attitude! Aggressive Rude and Accusative, the problem really should have been easily resolved....or change the fridge or change the room...Happy customer who mayl then, perhaps, forgive any other little annoyances that may occur. We realky are easily pleased, but accusations and rudness are intolerable when problems should be very easily resolved, hence this review. We found, on line , the name and email of the general manager, and made a complaint. Only then an apology was offered but, not by the receptionist who caused the problem in the first place. To end on a high note, Pietro, in the dining room is a HUGE asset to this place and couldn't do enough for us. A little kindness and politeness goes a long long way! Go elsewhere with your hard earned cash and enjoy a carefree holiday. Turkey know how to treat holidaymakers.
