🚨⚠️ Nightmare at Hotel Beny – Two burglaries in one night, safe broken into, ransacked rooms and no help from the hotel! ⚠️🚨 We had been regulars at Hotel Beny for years, but this stay ended in absolute nightmare. In just one night there were two burglaries – in the middle of the night offenders entered our room via the balcony, ransacked our belongings, and my purse was later on the balcony. (Testimonies are available and photos!) The safe was unlocked and all valuables from the safe and room were stolen. Jewelry, cash etc I was pregnant at the time and under massive stress, but the hotel showed no compassion or support. No help, no police, no security measures – instead indifference and ridicule. Especially shocking: According to other guests and hotel staff (night porters), similar incidents have occurred several times before – the hotel apparently knew about the security issues but did nothing to protect guests. There is a complaint to the police, as well as reports to the insurance companies. The entire email history with the hotel is documented and clearly shows how disrespectful and irresponsible guests are treated there. ❗️This hotel is a massive security risk. We have reported the case to all relevant places and strongly advise against booking this hotel or vacationing there!
We stayed at this hotel with our 4 year old daughter. Whilst we seemed to be the only English people staying at the hotel, we never had any problems in asking/requesting assistance from the staff. They were always very helpful, and even went the extra mile for us. My partner had left her purse in the room safe, and we were on the way back to the airport, when she realised. The taxi turned back, and the hotel owner drove half way to meet us. Our 4 year old loved playing in the pool. They have two large pools, and three smaller ones. They also have a little park area ideal for a 4 year old. They have a couple of swings and some outdoor toys for smaller children. We had bed and & breakfast. There was always plenty for all of us to eat at breakfast. Eggs are cooked by request. Rooms were clean and tidy. Hotel was very reasonable, for a family working within a budget. Would most definitely recommend this hotel.
We feel we have found a gem although we are the only British people here the staff struggle with the English as they obviously not used to it. The hotel inside and out is extremely clean and we'll run.The only thing is as a diabetic I am finding the dinner menu a little limited but up to now have managed well.We really are enjoying our stay .
The best word to describe this Hotel is: average. The main benefit is: close to the beach. Staff not too friendly. Breakfast OK. In my honest opinion this is not the real value for money. The rooms are clear, bathroom is small. No wifi available in the room.
The whole family - 6 adult and 3 children stayed at the hotel for one week in the end of July. We had 3 double rooms, of this 2 were sea-side. We were informed about the hotel by some friends who have stayed at the hotel the last 8 years. The hotel has a perfect location situated directly to the beach, just with a beach promenade between the hotel and the beach. The hotel is not big, 6 floors with about 60 rooms. There is a marvellous swimming pool in front of the hotel, and the pool also have a childrens department. There is a number of sunbeds and parasols in the pool area. At the beach the hotel has sunbeds and parasols at the guests free dispositions, and when you have chosen a bed, you put on a badge with the room number and you have no worry about others taking your place. The first row of sunbeds are reserved for the guests with several stays. As were recommended by one of these guests, we were given the sunbeds in first row. 100 metres from the hotel there is speed ferry departure 3 times a week to Venice (90 minutes travel). The ferry leaves 9.30 and returnesfrom Venice at 16.30. The beach is 15 km long divided into areas around a piazza. Our piazza was Piazza Milano. Here there are a reasonable number of restaurants and shops. We found the prices reasonable to go out dining, and we were only one evening somewhat disappointed with food and service. The area is perfect to all kind of tourists, and for us the stay was a success as our grand children loved the stay. There is also a small play ground for the kids. The hotel was always in perfect shape, cleanliness was rule number one. The breakfast was OK, and it was served in the bar with open doors to the pool area. The staff was very friendly and they were allways eager to assist us. My wife needed medical treatment, and even though is was Friday afternoon they continued to call around untill they found a doctor who could see us. The hotel has garage in the cellar, and there are bicycles to the guests free disposition. We can only say: yes we will return to Lido di Jesolo and yes we will for certain return to Hotel Beny
