Hotel Harrys

We have just returned from a four-night stay at Harry’s Hotel, and I already miss it! I was initially quite worried after reading a few negative reviews, but I honestly couldn’t disagree with them more. Our experience was fantastic from start to finish. The hotel was clean, comfortable and welcoming. The rooms are fairly basic, but they have everything you need and give you a lovely feeling of being in Italy. They were spotless and perfect for relaxing after a busy day. The staff were absolutely lovely. Everyone was friendly, helpful and welcoming, which made us feel relaxed and completely at home throughout our stay. The breakfast was another highlight. It was a traditional Italian-style breakfast with a good selection of cooked options, pastries, fresh fruit and cereals. There was something for everyone, and everything was fresh and enjoyable. The pool was clean, peaceful and never too busy. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily recommend Harry’s Hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

The atmosphere in this hotel is very tense. The owners are older people who constantly watch and monitor the guests, which makes you feel uncomfortable rather than relaxed. There are no drinks included with dinner, so you have to buy everything separately — water, coffee, tea and other drinks. There is no kettle in the room, so you cannot even make yourself a cup of coffee or tea. The TV was very small and mounted very high on the wall. There was only one electrical outlet in the entire room. The woman in charge of the dining area constantly watched to make sure that nobody took drinks to the pool. Even children were not allowed to take water to the pool. If someone had a drink, she would immediately come running and shouting that everything had to be purchased from the hotel. I actually became afraid to drink the water I had in my own bag by the pool because I was worried she would come and shout at me. The owner also shouted at a child simply because the child walked into the hotel wearing wet pool flip-flops. The woman supervising the dining room was friendly only when guests were ordering and spending money. If you did not order anything, she would take the glasses away from your table. The dining room was so cramped that it was difficult to walk between the tables. The breakfast was the same every day: scrambled eggs, beans, boiled eggs, two types of cold meat and cereal. For lunch, you had to order what you wanted to eat one day in advance. When we ordered a bottle of wine, the lady brought it already opened instead of opening it in front of us. When I ordered Coca-Cola, it was served with an enormous amount of ice and very little Coca-Cola. It was not even brought in the bottle. Overall, the whole experience felt like a circus and a comedy rather than a relaxing holiday. Instead of feeling like a guest, you constantly felt watched and as if you had to be careful about everything you did. I have never experienced such an atmosphere in a hotel before. The constant monitoring, shouting and pressure to buy drinks made the stay very uncomfortable. You have to pay for air condishion ,safe,drinks…

1 week solo trip mid-june. Great location, right next to the beach + close to shops and public transport. Friendly/safe family run hotel. Went full board so just had to pay for drinks. Pros+ great location, beautiful pool, plentry of sunbeds around pool to sunbathe. Food was decent but a bit limited for vegetarians. Ate a lot of pizza and pasta. Staff are lovely and very accomodating. Room was basic but exfremely clean and whole hotel very clean. Decent drinks menu. The hotel ice creams are superb and very cheap at €2 Euros each, many delicious flavours. The tax bill for 1 week stay was only €11 so was not too bad. Cons: Air Con is an extra cost at €90 per week. I did not get this and last few night had poor sleep as was sweltering and bed linen was quite heavy and also bed was firmer than ideal. First 3 nights slept better but think as so tired from journey +was probably a bit cooler. Would recomment visiting the local markets and Jessolo which is a short bus ride. Also the bus/ferry into Venice is only €22 buy your bus tickets from the tabaconists opposite thw hotel as cannot buy tickets on the buses. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Stayed here for 4 nights (25th May - 29th May 2026) in Room 103 The room was outdated felt like how it was when I last stayed in 2012. could do with some paint and some modern furniture with in the room. Plus the TV was so small we decided to watch TV on our phones as it was less strain on the eyes. The rooms were very warm and humid so we had to ask for the Air Conditioning to be put on which was an extra €15 per day. Staff were friendly and pleasant for arrival to the hotel, then after that when not spending money with in the hotel like the bar or restaurant they barely acknowledged. When leaving and checking out there was no thank you or a goodbye hope to return from them.

Lovely stay at Hotel Harry’s 16-21 May 2026. Room 102. Basic dated accommodation, though modern bathroom with powerful hot shower. Note only one plug in the room! Lovely people running the hotel, who can’t do enough for you. Excellent food and generous measures with their drinks. Pool is clean and welcoming but very cold currently as the weather has only just warmed up. Beautiful sandy beach mins away which goes for miles and certainly worth the visit.
