Hotel Principe

With a very welcoming and nice staff, the hotel is best suited for families. They will find the place suitable for children, the hotel has a small playground. The breakfast could be better, the variety is small. - For single travellers though might not be a good option - the rooms are small, with an extremely small bathroom (you van not sit on the WC properly, cause you don't have space for your legs, and I am a smaller person...) - The ownrers were helpful (especially Claudia, who even took me to the station with the car, when I left.)

Very friendly and professional staff, excellent food. We appretiated also the location very close to the beach, but also to the entertainment. Thank you Claudia and Matteo for very nice holiday. I hope we will have a chance to come back.

At first sight the style is a bit plain, but really delivers on the quality of stay with being understated but providing everything you need effortlessly. The staff couldn't be better, and it made for a very relaxed and pleasant stay. The food for breakfast, lunch and dinner is excellent and incredible value. Everything you could want in a buffet breakfast; lunch and dinner is a 4 course affair with buffet antipasti, pasta (3 choices), primi (3 choices) and variety of desserts. It is about 300m from the sea, is nice and quiet and all on the front and on 2nd floor upwards have sea views and balconies. Used this as a 3 day base to do the 205km Nove Colli cycle event on the Sunday, with registration on Saturday and recovery on Monday - just excellent, even let us keep bikes in the bedrooms, and it has car parking.

We had a wonderful holiday in this hotel and were pleasantly impressed by the Welcoming and helpful staff. Although we were not very clear at the beginning with our requests, having decided to extend the stay at the last moment, the staff immediately took action to make our choice possible, with great professionalism and kindness. The food was always fresh, varied and of excellent quality, with a wide choice able to satisfy all tastes. The waiters were attentive, respectful and always friendly. Service in general was excellent. We would like to give a special thanks to Mrs Claudia, a humble person, always present, a hard worker who stands out for her respect and dedication. A woman with a capital D, which made our experience even more beautiful. We would like to point out that this review comes exclusively from our personal and sincere experience, without any kind of benefit in return. It was really a pleasure to stay here and we will definitely be back!

REVIEW FOR HOTEL PRINCIPE DI GATTEO A MARE STAY FROM 15 TO 29 JUNE 2025: A SCANDALOUS OVERALL SERVICE PROVIDED BY A CHEAP MANAGEMENT THAT TAKES ADVANTAGE OF USING POORLY TRAINED STAFF BUT ABOVE ALL WITHOUT ANY COORDINATION. LITTLE PRIVACY, LITTLE DISCRETION WITH ROOM KEYS AFFORDABLE TO ANYONE EVEN OUTSIDE THAT PASSES AND CAN 'GO UP TO YOUR ROOM, NO CONTROL, SPECULATION ON THE STAFF NEVER SEEN IN ROMAGNA. TRULY A SHAME.
