Residence Tiglio

We had a fabulous stay here in Late September. We opted for a nice pitch by the lakeside, which wasn't too bad with the ACSI card discount. Dog friendly, places to enter lake Garda to swim or paddle board, nice food in the restaurant and friendly staff. Also has laundry facilities and bike hire if required.

Pool lovely Toilets, showers and washing facilities filthy and mosquito infections constantly, lots complained to no avail. No soap or toilet paper in the ladies toilets and walls covered in mosquitoes I WILL NOT BE RETURNING

The owners asked for money for EVERYTHING. The WiFi looks like it's included but it costs 2 € PER HOUR. And they only show the beaches where you can buy so etching and they get money. There's one near that one but much prettier and with, usually, less people. Not too animal friendly. The Airconditioning costs 5 € a day. But they won't say that. But take it off the 80 € deposit (which has to be in cash).

We were lucky to get a pitch for our caravan right on the lakeside. Dx14 pitch. Beautiful views over the lake toward the mountains. Either side of our pitch were little wooden jettys into the lake where you can swim or launch boats. The lake is shallow for a long way so safe for children. Because it's a Sandy bottom the lake water does get cloudy after swimmers. It's was so warm and we swam in the evening. It was magical and very peaceful. I would recommend taking a lilo or float. The man in reception was very sweet and spoke good English. He was friendly and helpful. The toilets and showers at the start of the day are very clean! The pool was very well kept with life guard. There are sunbeds. One slide for very young children. You need to wear swim caps in the pool which they sell in the shop for 1.50€. The supermarkets are close by. We had such a lovely time here and would defiantly visit again but only if we could be guaranteed a lakeside pitch. Inside the camp was densely populated without views.

Nice camping ground with an amazing pool. Toilets could be improved but I’ve seen far worse. The internet connection is terrible but that wasn’t a big problem on holidays. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Cool music and night events in the evening but probably not the best for small children as it gets noisy.
