The place is very nice, however they should advise the guests that restaurant and bar facilities are very limited in October

The visuals of this location may appear enticing, but the actual experience falls short, resembling more of a campground or park setting than a resort. Room conditions were appalling; evident blood and mold tainted the walls and bathrooms. The staff's demeanor was consistently unwelcoming and defensive when approached. Conversations with fellow guests revealed similar complaints of mold infestations. Hygiene in the kitchen was subpar, evident by spiders dangling from hooks and an absence of proper ventilation. The morning restaurant spread primarily featured overly sweet Italian treats, unsuitable for those averse to sugary fare. Eggs were overcooked and pork slices the sole breakfast protein, with judgment towards dietary preferences. Fruit salad seemed days old, and the salad bar offerings appeared lackluster. There is no salt and paper on the table. If you wish to put salt on your boiled egg after you remove egg shells, you need to go back to the kitchen to get salt, as there is only 1 salt meal in whole restaurant 🧐 The overall breakfast experience felt restrictive and lacked diversity. Fruit salad appeared aged, and salad bar options were uninspiring. The fixed breakfast selection reflected a one-sided approach at Borgo Magnolio Resort, where it felt like guests catered to the staff rather than vice versa. Despite its high cost, Borgo Magnolio Resort delivered the worst service encountered during multiple travels to Italy last two decades. They need to learn a lot about how to provide service and be client centered. This venue is not worse of costs and waste of time and energy.

We stayed in this lovely resort in Tuscany with amazing views of Magliano historical town and in the near distance the coastline and the island of Giglio. Surrounding our resort were lots of lovely villages with little shops and typical restaurants and we were lucky to experience some good fun local festas. This well appointed resort had an on site restaurant and cool swimming pool. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which had all the necessary amenities and chose the half board option in the centralized restaurant where buffer breakfast and dinner was taken . We very much enjoyed the open barbecue grilled meats and our table overlooking the beautiful countryside. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and the cleanliness and attention to sustainability were top notch .

A place with a lot of potentials but unfortunately very basic amenities. I guess it’s good for family with kids as is not expensive has a nice pool and stunning view. The breakfast was embarrassing with dates food. Needs improvement and has the potentials to become a 5 star resort.

If you want a relaxing break, reading by the pool, the occasional dip and stunning views of the Tuscany olive groves, this is the place for you. The rooms are basically chalet-types with their own patios. Clean, functional rooms, friendly staff. A south-facing terrace by the three pools with plenty of sun loungers and a bar a short walk away. There's a toddlers pool, a slightly larger one and a deeper, main pool - something for all ages. There are restaurants in the nearby villages or you can eat on-site. I'd suggest it would be fine with very young children, but the older ones might not have enough to keep them amused?
