Garden Toscana Resort

This is not a 4 star. More like a 2-3 star. Beach is filthy and chairs are falling apart. Food is average. Pool is very old. Lots of things to do around if that’s all you care about then you’ll have fun. But very disappointing for us. Very low standard. Gutted where here for a week. Wish I was anywhere else.the pictures online are misleading and whilst the nature is lovely everything else is very old and outdated.

Unfortunately, the room service accidentally took away my small pillow, which I had brought from home and which meant a lot to me. After asking the reception several times, the hotel did not respond to me in the form of compensation or anything similar. Several emails after the vacation were ignored. That really ruined my vacation. Unprofessional, what a shame!

Just great 👍 We were external tourists, called at 11:00 and reserved access to the Spa center and massages already at 15:00 ! It was so easy and well organized. Kind lady on the phone was exceptionally attentive to our request as well as the parking lady of the hotel greeted us with. Hotel and SPA team was just awesome! Sauna, Hammam, massages, baubles bath, little snacks and tea offered.. . all was perfect. We are very grateful, you made our day so relaxed and resourceful. Definitely to repeat 🔁

We stayed in August 2023 for a week. It’s important to know that most people drive and when you arrive they ask you to empty your car by reception, the staff label it, and then golf carts come to collect everything with your name and bring to your room. We had many small bags, and loose toys, but better would be fewer big bags. The rooms are very clean, comfortable, and functional. The air conditioning works well and we had a lot of space in our room and balcony to relax. The room service every day is excellent, very fast and they do a good job. If you are not ground floor, the only way up is steps. The hotel is spread across many buildings, but nothing is too far to walk, it is a very nice design like a small village. Everyday the children’s entertainment is excellent. Andreo, Matteo and the entire animation team are so fantastic with the kids. Our 2 boys (4, 8) don’t speak Italian, but they ran everyday to mini club so full of excitement, and there was such a good program of events everyday. They swam in the sea, rode a pony, baked biscotti, did Luna park, and most importantly they made new friends. All over the hotel, day or night, a member of animation team would wave hello to our boys and greet them by name. The restaurant serves really good Italian food. There is a lot of healthy food choices as well as mountains of pasta, pizza, cakes, and other delicious treats. Many nights have a theme, like seafood night, and the choices leave nothing to be desired. All the hotel staff greet you very friendly and serve the food however you like, without any question. In the morning fresh made espresso is always good. After dinner the white bar team are excellent making cocktails, and the prices are very good. The mini disco, theatre show, and live music are all very good. Special mention though to the performance of Peter Pan the hotel team did, especially the actors in the leading roles of Peter and Wendy. The sport facilities are also excellent. When the kids were in mini club we enjoyed everyday the group cycling with Christina and Massimo. Tennis with Sara is a special highlight as I have never improved so much before as on this holiday, and she also coached my son and wife, who all improved a lot. The sports team with Roberto and Vlad make all the arrangements easy and simple, and everything is quick and easy to organise. Renting a bicycle from Thomas is also easy and fun to do, although plan for more than 1 hour cycling by the coast because the first Kilometers are all along the road next to the nature park and beach. We enjoyed the beautiful warm waters of the sea everyday, on the pristine clean beachc with small waves, and shallow water. Both of my boys got much more confident in water while here, thanks also to the mini club for that. The hotel has a very good shop, if you forget anything for holiday they will certainly have it. Also essential beach toys, and cosmetics. Overall we felt relaxed from the first friendly smiles when we arrived, and the good feeling never left. We already booked for next year and will be counting down the 358 days until our next visit to this little oasis by the sea.

We stayed at Garden Toscana Resort as part of our trip through Italy, and we wish we could have stayed longer! We are a big group of 12 including four kids visiting from California, and we all agree that our five-night stay was one of our best holiday experiences ever! All the staff are so welcoming and really make you feel like a big family here; they always greeted us with a smile and stopped to chat with us every time they were passing by. From Matthias in the kids sports zone to Alice and Nassima and all the staff floating around making sure the guests are comfortable, everyone was so friendly, cheerful, and helpful. Federico especially was so welcoming and kind, always making sure we know what activities were going on and giving us tips on the best things to see. The kids loved him! There was an abundance of activities, from the beach and kayaking to tennis, soccer, and paddle ball to biking and archery, the kids didn't want to leave at all, and neither did we! There was even an arcade with fun games for the kids that they enjoyed a lot too. Every night there was live music near the pool, dances for the kids, and shows in the theater that included a concert by Joe Romano and the Stolen Clippers--it was phenomenal! The service was really top-notch, with the resort being so generous with the meals they provide and always catering to the guests' comfort, really making us feel right at home. We will definitely be coming again on our next trip to Italy! Thank you to everyone at Garden Toscana Resort for a wonderful stay!
