Grand Hotel Croce Di Malta

This hotel has a great location, is clean and has a nice spa but is run with no love. Reception are nice and warm but when my wallet and cards were robbed of little use. I reported that when I shower my room floods on day 1 but no corrective action. Rooms are sparse and soulless. No paintings no coffee or tea, basic minibar, 5 hangers and tiny toilet are. Shower has minimal lotions, no shelving for your stuff and small. AC functional but not strong enough. 5 hangers provided Only. Breakfast was poor. Tinned fruit, hard scrambled egg, badly cooked American bacon, orange juice was coloured water. I noticed one guest asked for a freshly cooked omelette so I asked too. I was billed extra for it. Not a satisfying experience.

Over all this place was great , being from the US we were not used to the little beds in the room. Since I've never been to Italy before I don't know if this is normal. But again over all this hotel is very nice . It's location was in walking distance of everything . I would have gave it 5 stars if it had bigger beds. Lol

Great place to stay! Wonderful accommodations - staff is amazing! Restaurant is conveniently located on the ground floor. Rooms are spacious.

Room was mediocre with overly firm low beds. Room temperature was difficult to moderate. Food was absolutely atrocious - poor quality, small portions, poor service. Breakfast was worse than a cheap motel. The final straw was when the front desk wanted to charge me 1 Euro for a damn envelope. Would never go back here.

Beautiful hotel, well maintained and very clean. We had lovely room with balcony overlooking the pool, and was bigger than expected. Centrally located, a short walk to lots of restaurants and bars and couple minutes walk to the park. The Thai spa was excellent and easy to book. Breakfast is continental style, and adequate. Lovely outdoor pool with a few sun loungers and pleasant garden area. Would definitely stay here again
