A Wonderful Stay at Montecatini Palace We had a truly wonderful stay at Montecatini Palace and would like to say a very special thank you to the entire team. The hotel has such a beautiful and elegant ambiance. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming and luxurious. The swimming pool was absolutely wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day. A special thank you goes to Gomathi and Angelica at the front desk. They were both incredibly kind, helpful and welcoming, and went above and beyond to make our stay special. Their warmth and genuine hospitality really stood out to us and made us feel so well taken care of. The combination of the beautiful hotel, the relaxing atmosphere, the wonderful pool, the excellent breakfast and, above all, the amazing staff made our stay truly memorable. Thank you so much, Gomathi, Angelica and the entire Montecatini Palace team. We will definitely remember our stay with great fondness and hope to return one day!

From the greeting to the first impressions of the place and the room i have no complaints about our stay whatsoever Alessandra on the front desk and all the staff were very accommodating throughout Our room ,which was spotless ,was on the top floor right next to the stairs for the roof top pool and bar which was also very nice Sleep was easy as it was the quietest place ive ever stayed The room also had great air con ,a mini bar and coffee machine with en suite Breakfast in the morning offered all the continental fair you expect with very friendly staff every day Thankyou very much We had a wonderful time 😊😊😊😊

Hi we visited this hotel in Sept 2026, we had previously visited it in 2018 , the difference was rather alarming . I don’t think the hotel warrants its 5 stars, previously it did, the reasons behind this are…. Bedrooms look very tired, they need maintenance and painting. 2 Handles dropped off in our stay, the safe had no batteries in, so didn’t work either ! Breakfast was average, and we had to ask for a mushroom omelette as they had no mushrooms ? To be fair next day they had some, the coffee is definitely not as good as before and the quality of the fresh fruit was poor, no fresh orange juice either, just cheap sugary replacements. We had 2 meals in the Main restaurant, both where very good, although the wine was expensive and rather average , the restaurant had no atmosphere, and it’s such a shame most guests go into Town on an evening, as the high end restaurants are cheaper and have a nice atmosphere. No slippers-in your room ? Towels old and thin…no Dressing gowns, and no bottled water ?? No body lotion ?? All penny pinching and not up to 5 Star Standards. The spa was nice but lots of maintenance issues need addressing , tiles broken, short on towels, no shower gel in men’s shower for 3 days…it’s the total lack of attention to detail that lets this once superb hotel down. Outside the roads are littered with dog poo and broken glass, which is not the Hotels fault but it’s very disappointing. This Hotel only warrants 3 to 4 stars, and it must up its game in all departments to regain something near to a 4 or 5 star Hotel. The lady’s on reception where very helpful, thank you, and our cleaning lady was also lovely…. In all, it’s such a shame, but this hotel needs a new G Manager to address the shortcomings asap ….it’s could …and should be soo much better in ALL DEPARTMENTS 🫤

This hotel is beautiful. The staff are absolutely lovely, very helpful and always cheerful and welcoming. The rooms are very clean and housekeeping do a great job restocking towels etc. It is in a good location to the centre of the town and only a short walk through the amazing park to the Funicular railway which takes you up to Montecatini Alto (definitely worth a visit). The only negative was the food at the pool bar. It really was not nice at all and not good value. I had a burger which was horrible (tasted like a cheap frozen burger barely cooked) and my son had a chicken Caesar salad which was also very disappointing (chicken was slimey) This is such a shame as everything else about this hotel is fabulous.

What an amazing hotel for a quiet,relaxing pampered experience.We have just returned from.No fighting for sunbeds, no roudy teens, beautiful breakfast with waiter service.Roof top pool and pool with gentle relaxing music and excellent bar and food service from Francesco.Beautifully serviced rooms by our wonderful cleaner.If you want a peaceful and relaxing hotel with exquisite service and quality food this is the hotel for you.Check it out.
