San Michele

I cannot say enough good things about my experience. This is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in with the most kind, welcoming, accommodating staff. The front desk employees were wonderful. The room was very comfortable and charming, the lobby and common spaces in the hotel were exquisite, and the complimentary breakfast was exceptional and filling. The hotel is directly in town, right off the main square. It is very clean and reasonably priced (especially with the breakfast included). Will definitely be back in the future

Hotel San Michele is a lovely hotel in a perfect location located near the center of town. The only thing preventing me from giving it 5 stars is the tub/shower setup. We stayed in an upper room (with a balcony with a great view). There is a bathtub, with a long cord for a shower. But the bathtub is not enclosed and the ceiling is low, so it is very difficult to take a shower without getting the room wet. Other than that, everything was great.

We were greeted immediately as we pulled up to the hotel. All staff was warm, friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, large and stocked with everything to meet your needs including water! Breakfast was abundant and met dietary needs. Location of the hotel was perfect for everything-restaurants, sites and shopping. We had a wonderful stay!

This hotel was lovely. Central, comfortable, clean, with a super-friendly staff and delicious breakfast in a beautiful old building. My only complaint was a lack of hot water in the shower two of the four mornings I stayed at the hotel. Aware of the problem, the staff quickly had the problem fixed.

We stayed in a suite with a fabulous view and I do mean fabulous! We had a bathtub with a hand held shower nozzle. The room was great and they helped get our luggage to our room. The staff was courteous and gave us great recommendations on places to eat dinner.
