UNAHOTELS Forte dei Marmi

Due flight cancellation we were place in this hotel by Lay Over lounge at Pisa airport. We were advised that all meals including lunch dinner and breakfast the following morning would be provided at no charge to us. On arrival it was clear that the reception staff knew nothing about are booking, that was sorted after about 30 minutes but we were told that no lunch could be provided and due to our early departure the next day neither could breakfast. No choice of menu was offered at dinner & no provision if you were vegetarian or vegan. Our dinner comprised a small portion of pasta, a few new potatoes and a chicken leg, no dessert. As this was a 4 star hotel we felt like we were an inconvenience and were treated particularly by the reception staff like second class citizens. We would not stay here again through choice

Far from everything no music no bar at night to enjoy and listen someone sing or play music. There is literally nothing to do or see there. In a positive note the staff are nice and the hotel is very clean.

We could not get out of here fast enough. The location is far from everything if you do not have a car. We borrowed the bikes every time we wanted to get something to eat or leave the hotel. It was 15-25 minutes to find something to eat. The hotel food was terrible and made us sick. The sheets were scratchy and bed like cardboard. The walls shook and we could hear barking dogs, people walking above us and noisy people. You will need a noise machine if you stay here. Needless to say, we checked out early and forfeited a night stay that we already paid for. Money well spent! The absolute kicker is that the front desk person told us she could not find a taxi to get us to the train station because there are only a couple and they are hard to find. She offered no solution. We repeatedly asked for her assistance to find us a ride and she finally did. I felt like I was begging her to help us leave. Very memorable experience. We will never stay at an UNA property again.

We booked late in the evening, without any idea of ​​what the hotel would be like after calling other hotels nearby, all of which were fully booked. We were tired and nervous having arrived by ferry to Livorno with a terrible delay. Already on the phone, the staff was courteous and when we arrived we were pleased with the proximity to the motorway toll booth and even more with the beautiful room, modern, bright, and comfortable. The ample parking is definitely a bonus, as is the fact that they welcome pets. Breakfast was the icing on the cake, good quality and choice of sweet and savory, friendly staff. We got to explore the hotel a bit and we thought it was beautiful making us want to return at a better time.

I was placed here with my friend when our flight was cancelled. The Hotel was in such a beautiful spot in the mountains and the pool was fab and the outside seating area The breakfast was massive with so much choice. The only small complaint would be that there were stains on the bedding and pillow cases. They had been washed so wete clean but maybe a time for a change.
