Villa Ambra

Comfortable, clean and perfectly located. We visited 6 Tuscan towns from here. We had cooking classes, went to thermal spas and had our own apartment where we could prepare some meals. The restaurant here is very good as well.

Absolutely amazing beginning to end experience. I’ve never in my life felt more welcomed by hotel staff who truly welcomed us like family. Very good communication leading up to our stay as we had some questions regarding transportation and some activities in the area.

This is our 2nd stay at Villa Ambra, and we loved it !! First time there was a few years ago, and we visited as a couple. We enjoyed it so much, that this time we are visiting as family. Marcio is a super kind person, as well as his family. This time we booked a double room, for my husband and me, located at the hotel building and we also booked a 2 bedroom apartment for my 2 young adult sons and his girlfriend, the apartment it’s not located exactly where the hotel is, it is located a few meters away. The apartment is super comfortable, private, lovely and sparkling clean. We booked with the option of breakfasts included, and it was delicious ! If you are planning a few days visiting Tuscany, without any doubt this is the place to stay. It is just a short drive to beautiful Tuscany towns. We stayed here and visited Florence, Pisa, Pienza and Montepulciano.

This was our seventh stay at Villa Ambra when in the Montepulciano area, and we would not stay anywhere else. The hosts, Marzio, Catia, Andrea, and Federico treat us as if we are family. One of the benefits of staying at Villa Ambra is partaking of the dinner that is offered. Each night provides a taste of local Tuscan cuisine along with a bottle of the fine wine that they produce. The five course meal is a delight to the taste buds. The rooms are comfortable and clean, along with a nice outdoor sitting area. A substantial breakfast is provided with a variety to choose from. The hotel offers wines and olive oil for sale from their own vineyard and olive trees. These are all reasonably priced and can be shipped home. We look forward to seeing these wonderful people again in the future.

The room was dark, very bad lightning and old style decoration. The signal of internet did. ot arrive to the room, even they said that wifi included. The staff was not th friendliest. At least there was a swimming pool and free parking. I would not go back there.
