Villa Fiesole

A September visit: HOT and they turned off the air conditioning, telling us it was a government mandate’ which is not true. Opening the windows let in mosquitoes which made our stay miserable. They gave us a fan which did not help. Sorry to say, with all the good things about this place, this overshadowed them.

We loved our stay! The hotel is in a quiet and beautiful location up the hill from Florence. The free shuttle made it easy to go into town. The hotel was elegant and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We can't wait to return!

We absolutely loved this hotel. The views were incredible and the fact that beautiful Florence was so close was even better. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus which we got a few times and it was perfect. There is a bus stop outside the hotel and the buses were easy enough to use (if using google). We went for a walk through the woods to Fiesole and would definitely recommend that as the views are just breathtaking. Neri on reception was fantastic, very eager to help and gave us some recommendations for food in Fiesole. Such a beautiful hotel 😍

We are very experienced European travelers and I think the Hotel Villa Fiesole is my favorite European hotel Huge, beautifully decorated rooms and bathrooms Our room had a fireplace and private patio Very quiet Wonderful staff Beautiful views of Florence The nearby Fiesole restaurant Terrazza 45 is fabulous

On arrival at reception Aurora was warm, welcoming and super efficient. We booked the hotel last minute when we were in Fiesole after our original hotel had cancelled our reservation without informing us, thankfully this wonderful hotel more than made up for that experience! Beautiful location, amazing breakfast, shuttle service into Florence. But above all else Aurora on reception was fantastic and made us feel at home!
