Alpenresort Belvedere

I would not stay here again unless they made one big change: the restaurant. It is bad. The hotel is located in an excellent spot. An easy walk down to the lake. And an easy walk up to the bandstand for the fun shows at night in the lovely old town. We stayed here for a week. Our big beautiful suite with two balconies had a fabulous view of the lake. And it was clean and comfortable. Most of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. However, the entire stay at this hotel was ruined for me by the terrible restaurant and below average food. First, the lake view restaurant looks like a cafeteria. It is very brightly lit. Like something in an old age home, but with children. I dreaded our meals there. The breakfast and dinner buffet offerings were tolerable. And the lady who made the crepes and eggs did a good job. However, the served dinners were below average. The presentation was okay, but the ingredients were second class, and the taste of the food at dinner was consistently inferior. In addition, many of the waitstaff seemed unhappy and bothered by the customers. A couple of more things: the exercise/weight room is not acceptable. It is small, with broken equipment, and no dumbbells, etc. And, the steam room in the spa area only worked some of the days. In conclusion, lower your expectations way down if you choose to stay in this hotel and make sure to get a big lake view room. Otherwise, I think you may be disappointed.

Hotel is very good in general, room and service were perfect. But view is important, our room was on the mountain side which means just above a busy road, windows insulate well but lake view should be much better. Position is perfect, Molveno is on a slope (go to Andalo if you don't like) an this is just in between the beach and the cablecar to Pradel (a must). Breakfast is very good but despite the "gourmet" label dinner was somewhat too gourmettish, a more "typical" alpine menu would have been much better so consider the b&b option. Molveno is 800m, early july was already very hot and rooms have only a floor heating/cooling which is not really air conditioning, italian summer can be very hot and humid.. We did not use the pool and spa but our friends appreciated them a lot. Overall a good choice

Wonderful location close to lake and city. Easy to hike or enjoy some time at the lake. Very big rooms and clean . Awesome breakfast

Super hotel with all features you expect from a 4 star + hotel in the Alps. Hospitality, classy food, excellent service, spacious rooms and other areas, and a fabulous spa-area with an amazing outdoor swimmingpool. And of course a lovely view over the lake and a very warm hearted and personal staff with a service touch extraordinary.

Stayed a week with Newmarket holidays in a lake view suite very relaxed friendly spotless hotel with gourmet restaurant amazing spa and treatments in a spectacular area Would recommend this hotel without hesitation The village is an upward walk ..not very strenuous and there is a local free bus to the centre and the cable car …bus stop near the hotel Would definately return
