Hotel Dal Bon

This hotel is a simple but good one in the centre of Andalo. The double room was not that spacious and had a shower instead of a bath but it was kept in a very good condition and was very clean. This hotel has a storage space where one can keep the skis and ski boots. The breakfast consisted of a simple but nice buffet and included mainly fresh cheese, ham, cakes, marmalades and cereals amongst others. In the entrance of the hotel there was also a small bar where one could have a cappuccino or even a drink after the skiing. The 3 course dinner offered at this hotel was delicious and much better than anything else that we had in restaurants in Andalo. Dinner in this hotel is therefore recommended but remember that you have to inform the owner in advance about your intentions, during breakfast time. There was even a lottery organised during the dinner where one could win several traditional Italian delicacies to take back home. If one does not speak Italian the communication with the staff might be a bit challenging but definitely not impossible. Dal Bon offers a good value for money and I would not hesitate to go back to it.

We stayed for 5 days in August at this cute hotel. What can I say!!! We had a great time; we had a dachshund and a cat with us, and they also had a great time thanks to the wonderful garden. The hotel has a beautiful, spacious, and clean room, excellent breakfast, and we had dinner at the hotel, and I must say there was a lot of choice and the food was also very good. The hotel is also quite affordable compared to the prices you find in the mountains now. The owners and staff are very kind; the morning we left, the battery was "dead," and it was also Ferragosto, and if we were able to leave, we owe it to the owner's son who worked to get us back on the road. So I will never stop thanking him. If you want to visit the wonderful Andalo and its splendid mountains, Hotel Dal Bon is highly recommended.

We stayed 3 nights. Quadruple room, nice big, just as the bathroom. A nice breakfast and the possibility also to order for dinner. Which with children is very comfortable Friendly staff, we were pleased in every request to take away pizzas and eat them in the TV room to watch the final of Sanremo. We recommend it and thank the family from Bon. A special greeting to the wonderful Alice and her little brother Pietro that we had the pleasure of meeting (they are the chef's children) Maria

Very successful New Year's stay. Hotel well organized even on peak days, courteous and present staff, family atmosphere and tidy. Clean and comfortable room, great breakfast. Very convenient central location. A confirmation of seriousness and good management. Recommended.
