Hotel Cristiania

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! Stayed here for a week skiing - biggest mistake choosing this hotel. For a start 1 large window/door with no curtain, so as soon sun rises you’re awake (glad it’s not summer). Only 1 plug socket in the whole room that is available to use, rest you need another adapter which I’ve never used after visiting 16 different countries!!!! Provide a kettle on the side but no where to plug it in!??? And WOW are the walls thin! The hotel decides to place a young couple next to a family room which wraps around it? So all night kids are screaming and banging, reported to reception and nothing actioned. This had ruined our holiday with no way to relax at night. Breakfast is egg, bacon, pancake and fruit that's it. Shower leaks constantly even after not using it all day??? Don't waste money booking here, go elsewhere!! AVOID THIS CRAP HOTEL!!

Excellent stay at Hotel Cristiania, I'd happily stay here again. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, they also spoke good English. We had a panoramic room which looked out onto the Miramonti piste, the room was spacious and cleaned daily, and was exactly as described on the website. Location of the hotel is good, a 2 minute walk from the Pradalago gondola and you can get back to the hotel from slopes that finish 2 minutes walk either above or below the hotel. Breakfast was good, always plenty to choose from with a selection of the usual continental options as well as some scrambled eggs and bacon. The only slight downside for us was the boot room, the lockers were fine and boot racks heated, however there is only limited seating for changing into ski boots which meant the room got very crowded at peak times and we usually had to change into boots standing up.

Amazing hotel, really helpful friendly staff,especially the reception team,nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are cleaned daily, breakfast was very nice ( I would make a little suggestion, though, be be a little bit more diverse) .It is in a very good location,ski in- ski out,the whole resort is absolutely beautiful!It's our second consecutive stay at this hotel and already thinking to book again for next year Thank you, Hotel Cristiania, see you all again !

Can there be less than one star? Rude management & horrible service. We had originally booked a week in Switzerland, but the ski conditions were very bad, so we quickly reorganized our trip to go to Madonna Di Campiglio. In our haste, my wife and I ended up booking Hotel Christiania and hotel Arnica. Both had the same cancelation policies. We would loose 50% of the money we paid. Since it was only 1 hour after booking, and 3 days in advance, Hotel Arnica immediately granted my request to wave the cancelation fee. I continued to try to contact Hotel Cristiania through email, booking.com, whatsapp and by phone. We decided to arrive at Madonna Di Campiglio one day earlier. Online booking with Hotel Cristiania was not available. Assuming they would show us the same curtesy as Hotel Arnica, we rebooked with Hotel Arnica using miles (Hotel Cristiania showed no availability). Finally, after 14 hours, I got a reply from Hotel Cristiania, saying they wanted to take our money, but could not accommodate us. Management was rude and swore at me, threating retaliation if I gave him a bad review. Don't be fooled by location. Every hotel in this town has a great location. Book at a hotel that will understand if you make a mistake and notify them within an hour, so that they rebook the room. This hotel wants to take your money, and then sell the room to someone else.

Booked direct with the hotel and got one of the newly modelled rooms. The rooms aren’t huge but have everything you need including a sofa and a fridge. We had a lovely view from the room. Amazing value for money given the location, just a few steps from the Pradalago cable. The staff were all so friendly (especially breakfast staff) and gave us discounts for ski hire, ski passes and restaurants. Breakfast was buffet style and really good with bean-to-cup coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. The boot room was very modern with boots warmers inside the lockers. You can either ski back to the bottom of the Pradalago lift and walk downhill to the hotel but the lower slopes were a bit too slushy late afternoon for this (it did hit 14 degrees one day when we were there 12-19 March). We preferred to ski down to the Belvedere restaurant and walk up 5 mins to the hotel. This is our 4th trip to Madonna and we love it, the Brenta Dolomites are just so spectacular. We will definitely be back and would definitely return to the Cristiania.
